Is it possible to install Windows?
We only offer Linux based OS's - however, we also offer IPMI access to your server if you wish to self-install Windows. You can request that after the server has been setup.
After placing your order, you will receive a welcome e-mail once the server has been setup.
What is the installation cost?
There is no charge for the IPMI self-install option (which you can use to install Windows on the server yourself). We are also happy to mount an ISO for you.
We do not offer an installation service for Windows where we install it. This is due to licensing constraints since we do not have a licensing agreement with Microsoft in place.

Unfortunately, no. This is because it requires manual work to setup on our end.
Can I choose 12 8TB hard drives?
The order form lets you customize the server, including the selection of 12x 8TB drives. The 2nd page of the checkout confirms the pricing, including all discounts.
Unsolicited endorsement: been hosting with 1GServers for over two years now and reliability has been excellent. 99.995% reachability on IPv4 and 99.998% on IPv6. (If only my expensive Comcast "Business" connection were so reliable…)
