Need a vps in marseille or somewhere below 2ms ping to this ip 147.161.180.101
needs to be cheap won't need more than

1 core
512GB ram
500GB traffi

higher specs won't hurt for a low yearly price

You won't find anything cheap there. Closest would probably be Milan/Zurich, with roughly 6-7ms.

  • Try oracle cloud

I think am going for milan, but traffic will basically go marseille -> milan -> marseille -> WHATEVER OTHER ROUTE could be through milan again which is not ideal but it is what it is, thx

pulseheberg currently (black firday) has a best value cloud with vps on (older hardware) in Nice, France.

According to https://lg.as62000.net/?traceroute (choose Nice,FR), the ping to 147.161.180.101 is 2.7ms on their AS62000 network.

This here seems to be their cheapest VPS, it's €24 (plus VAT I think) per year:

https://manager.pulseheberg.com/index.php?m=pulseorder&offer=31&language=english (choose Nic, FR location), the also have standard vps that start at €4/month - also choose location Nice.

I once had a server w/ them, did not like their VAT handling but otherwise it was okayish...

(Edit: if you are from France, their crazy price/VAT handling for out-of-France customers won't affect you.)

Otherwise maybe misaka.io has VPS in Marseille but those won't come cheap (but with good quality)

    That 100Mbps though...

The standard ones have a bit more (250Mbps).

The performance ones w/ 500 Mbps won't help as they are hosted in Paris.

  • and otherwise ouiheberg has data centers in Montpellier and Toulouse, but I don't know and haven't found network information, so you might want to hit them up asking for a test ip and if they e.g. host vps in Montpellier.
