I ended up going a little overboard this BF, mostly getting cheap yearly dedis. Did anyone end up with some killer VM deals?
My haul this year:
3x yearly Ryzen 3600 systems from @gigahost ($330 each)
5x yearly e3 dedis from @ColoCrossing ($130 each)
2x yearly VMs from @servarica_hani ($42 each)
1x big monthly VPS from @servarica_hani ($38)
a bunch of little VirMach VMs for testing + additional cluster nodes (probably like $200 all in)
Overall feeling pretty good about what I got! Even if my wallet is feeling a little bit hurt 
Will finally be able to have a beefy dedicated k3s cluster in the US and EU.

Got 2 small vps from virmarch as well few days ago. Just to get VIRMARCHED someday. (for like 20-30$
Very, very reasonable this year.
But I already have quite a few servers to play with.
After a while, it just doesn't make sense to accumulate them.

That's was my plan initially. 1111 from GC + 2 cheap storage VPS in 2 locations.
Of course, I couldn't resist renewing some of last year's excellent deals.
And OVH didn't help cut costs with some great dedi offers.
So unfortunately the original plan has changed a little, and so has the budget....
Prices are low considering what I got!! Works out to ~$11/month for an e3 with 32g ram and 1t ssd with 10tb bandwidth, and $27/month for a ryzen 3600, 32g ram, 500g nvme and 1gig unmetered.
Just spendy all at once, but not bad if you break the prices out to cover a year. Plus idling dedis is more fun than idling VMs, it's something tangible to get attached to
