I meant more personal friends server but these are both true. Minecraft is slighly more multithreaded then 8 years ago tho but yes ur point is valid.

If you have a big server (or you're server is having lag with people spread out), PaperMC is making Folia. It runs on multiple CPU cores (Threads, but they recommend real cores). Still being made (in beta) and they only recommend 16 cores ATM as they have no idea how well it runs. Also Plugins have to be made to support Folia. Each core loads regions.
Yeah if I lived in Germany this thing would absolutely slap for a Space Engineers server

A little off topic, but this software is for massive servers and therefore not applicable here but minecraft can max out 128+ threads 1tb+ram https://papermc.io/software/folia
Render thread is still single threaded. Folia solves this, but no one really knows how well it'll run on 8 cores. Small servers are 100% good and okay for this tho (Deal, not Folia).

No, Prepaid-Host does use a huge CEPH cluster for storage.
They had huge issues with CEPH when I got my first first servers from them, but they seriously scaled up their CEPH cluster and it's been smooth sailing since then.
In this case I just follow what they sent to me, need them to clarify though.
