(2) Also I see that you're offering Daily/ Weekly backups included in "India KVM 1G" deal. Can we switch that up with doubling the RAM to 2G instead? Bandwidth offered seems adequate as it is.

1- You can use Debit Card (For Indian users) payment option to pay via UPI.
We use CCavenue for that.
2- I'm afraid that won't be possible.

Just sharing a wired experience of mine
In short, lost SSH access, had a good scare but was able to solve this with available tools in the control panel provided.
To elaborate,
I have got the lowest Plan VPS advertised here running Ubuntu 22 LTS. I run just one software in that VPS. That's OpenVPN and forward all 80/443 and few other ports traffic to my home server from there.
Never had any issue and it was running fine (infact, excellent) since the day I got it.
Occasionally I log into this VPS to update the OS.
Today was one such day, I logged in and run the update / upgrade commands. Updates went fine and I rebooted the VPS. After the reboot, to my surprise, I found my password to be refused as incorrect. I meant, I just used it to update and reboot and now it is saying login incorrect?
Thankfully I was not using the default "root" user, which was created at the time of deployment. I had created a new sudo user for regular use. It was this new regular sudo user which was having this wired issue.
No problem I thought, since that root user was there. So I dug up the old account creation email and used the password in there to log in with that "root" user. But surprise here too. That password was also got incorrect login error.
Rescue
Logged into the website user control panel and fortunately there was this option to reset the password for "root" user I guess. Tried that, and I worked fine.
After a reboot, I was able to login to the VPS with "root" user and then to change the password for my regular sudo user from there.
After Thoughts
I wonder how lucky I was to ignore the basic thumb rule suggest by everyone to delete the default "root" user for security purpose and use a new sudo user for operations. What would have happened if I didn't have that default root user present. Would it be even possible in that case to recover.
My use case doesn't put any data in the VPS itself. So I actually have nothing to lose for a reinstall but I kept wondering, what exactly went wrong here? How did that password, which worked a min ago for updating, stopped working after a reboot.
Wired experience, but fortunately the available tools in the control panel was sufficient to recover from the issue.
