@FredAllen : what do u mean by fastest ??? Recommend you CatalystHost if you need reliability. If you need it in less pricing prometeus. Ramnode is also good.

When not oversold ovz beats everyone, maybe except carefully watched over vserver.
Next in usability (almost full virtualization and great speed) is xen-pv.
Fully virtualized is KVM and with the virtio drivers also gains some speed, but will not catch Xen-PV.
Fast, cheap and reliable is kinda hard. What do you want to do with it?
OVZ is among the fastest, it is among the cheapest, but not the most reliable however, we achieve months of uptime quite easily.
