Has anyone traded with @slmdr? He needs me to use PayPal friends or family
In the transaction with @slmdr, the purchase of the OVH server required a $60 payment to him, and after I completed the payment to him via PayPal, he refunded my money, saying I needed to use a friend or family member.
Prior to this, I asked him to share the YABS data of the server but he ignored it; I asked him to initiate the PUSH and then confirm acceptance of the PUSH after receiving the payment but he ignored it.
I'm not sure if the transaction should continue.
Has anyone traded with him? Can I continue the transaction?
Any help would be appreciated.

Lol how many more of these scam threads are we going to see…look at the guys profile you seriously thought yeah it should be fine sending him money?
I'm sure there are more good people out there, the scammer I hope he xxx
An account from 2017 with 10 posts? Yeah should be fine he’s active enough here
I avoided it, since no yabs and nothing showing to me too, and only crypto requested.
Usual ratio idiots to scammers is 2:1. So that's why they periodically emerge. OP - steer clear from scammer.
He isn't allowed to post in transfers. Older account, too few posts. Be very (VERY) cautious of using family and friends, unless you are related to him or he is your friend
How many red flags do you need before you walk away? Come on man.
Salamander ?
HI mate, are you trying to remind me to break the rules?
I don't know much about the forum rules, so please advise me if I'm doing something wrong.
No no. The other guy sounds shady and I wouldn't donate him $60.
The only thing you're doing wrong is being naive and believing anyone and everyone on the internet is inherently trustworthy and honest. LET has some guard rails in place but when you venture out of the "proper" channels, those guard rails don't help.
When you use the friends/family option in PayPal - you can't dispute anything should anything go sideways.
The fact he refunded your money and asked you to do go the friend and family route is a huge red flag.
Then you have a reasonable request (YABS) - denies it and ignores you, another huge red flag.
Last but not least, he's only got 10 posts over 7 years. 3 strikes and you're out.
Don't let your desire to purchase the server distract you from using common sense.
In case none of that has sunken in, no, do not move forward with sending him money unless you want to give him $60 as a friend and receive nothing in return.
