Anyone who is NOT a customer and is hesitating because of some reservations, all I can suggest is to give them a try. I actually hesitated signing up for several years before finally setting up a couple of linux servers with them.

Can't go back in time, but can legit recommend them.
The YABS performance benchmarks I've ran are respectable and there have been zero service interruptions.

In my opinion they provide the best value in hosting. Couldn't be happier.

Obviously I'm not that poster but I've been using RackNerd for about a year, never had any issues or complaints and never any downtime. The only nitpicks I have are extremely minor & exist in most other providers. Can't cancel invoices without a ticket & no firewall configuration within the panel, most other VPS providers I've used have had noticeable issues in some form or another not to mention include the two minor nitpicks I mentioned above..

Can't cancel invoices without a ticket

I was able to cancel my vps plans without opening a ticket. Actually, one issue I ran into was that I had to open a ticket to undo a plan I had clicked cancel on. Once you initiate a cancellation, it can't be undone without support. Thankfully, they responded within the hour and were able to prevent my service from being terminated a few days from then (I had said to cancel at the end of the contract date).

RackNerd's Swissgear backpack - the only partner a techie needs.

Hi @noob404 -- Love this! I gotta say, SwissGear really knows how to make premium gear. When we selected these backpacks, we knew they'd be perfect for the community.

Oh yah. This was my first premium backpack and glad that it was a Swissgear. Only after I started using it, did I finally understand what the hype was all about.

    You won one before?

    Last year, yes.

    Nice. Still rocking it?

Ofcourse, my go-to bag. Carry almost everything in it - laptop, gaming console, grocery. My friend also took it trekking! It's sturdy stuff

    whats the size?

Oh man, I have no idea about the size though. Let's just say it's perfect for a 15.6" laptop.

    Here's some info:

    DIMENSIONS
    18.5 x 12.5 x 10 in

    LAPTOP COMPARTMENT DIMENSIONS
    15 x 10 x 1 in

    TABLET POCKET CAPACITY
    11 x 8.5 in

    WEIGHT
    2.1 lbs

Oh! Yah, but you have to consider everything here. The support is awesome. I was indeed blown away by the customer support team's response team. Let me tell you my experience. I got my first RN VPS last year, one in a GA and another one bought during the flash sale. This was my first real VPS that I learned almost everything on, setting up panels and stuff. So, I had to do stuff on my own. So, I was trying to set up an email server and learned that it was recommended to setup PTR records. And, for that, I had to contact my host, i.e., RackNerd. I opened a ticket asking for the PTR record to be activated. And, given the price I paid for the price (crazy low!), I decided it was okay to take a day's break, cause I was expecting atleast 24 hours response time. And, to my dismay, I got an email in exactly 18 minutes telling me that the records had been activated!

This blew my mind. I had been paying 4X prices for test VPS and stuff only to have slow support and downtimes. But, this was just on another league for me, an eye opener.

Now, no host is perfect, including RN, but, imho, RackNerd is the closest we have to a perfect host, and that is considering all the big names, not only LET providers.

A++ for excellent and super sonic customer service. Even for requests loading custom iso multiple times in a single day

I have mostly Windows OS based VPS and very limited Linux OS based VPS and Racknerd VPS is one such Linux OS based VPS.

Been Racknerd customer for 2+ years.

Thank You so much @dev_vps for the love! Can we send you a RackNerd shirt? If so, DM me referencing this comment and we'll get it shipped out (where ever you are in the world) :)

Thank you for your kind gesture and the gift

Thanks for that, Dustin. My dad's currently using the backpack. So, I don't have it handy with me. Also, talking about compartments, the laptop compartment is ideally designed, to hold the laptop in firmly, while the other compartments are relatively flexible. Maybe because it's my first premium bag, but, I haven't seen such thought given to design before, in any of my bags.

What an awesome experience, and I'm happy that your experience has been amazing. I'll also be the first to say, we aren't perfect, but the most important thing to note here is that we try to be. We focus on performance, reputation and price for what we give is shocking.

We've been able to scale our business quite fast, and have grown our team over the years as a result of our hard work -- everyone here on the RackNerd team, understands the importance of customer service. Our response times, are quick and we do our very best to maintain our reputation and listen closely to customer feedback. In the rare events we have issues, we step back and see what can be learned from such events, and improve our service offerings.

Awesome. I was in the same boat as you exactly an year ago. And have never looked back. Most of us, including me, join the thread to win something big, frankly. But, we also try to support Dustin in getting RackNerd to higher heights as well as we can. Let's all not forget that nobody's forcing Dustin or RackNerd to host these GAs and sell quality VPSes dirt-cheap. Since RackNerd is already on the 5000 Regionals Pacific list (https://lowendbox.com/blog/racknerd-named-among-fastest-growing-companies-in-2024-inc-5000-regionals-pacific-list/ & https://lowendbox.com/blog/racknerd-ascends-into-the-inc-5000-fastest-growing-private-companies-but-they-havent-forgotten-their-community-roots/) they could always divert the money they are spending on us and the GAs to aggressive advertising online and maybe earn back 3-4X. But, no, they are giving back to the community. So, we do our small part in making sure RackNerd gets the recognition it deserves.
