Yah, that's like a mini-convo for us.
ChatGPT is the best candidate to deliver that.
Let's goooo, HYPE train, all aboard....
So party people online yet?
What's up for discussion now. Choose a topic of your liking.
I am gonna start. What do you think is the best option or place to have a custom PC built in India?
What kind of custom pc? Been building PCs since 2010 I might know just where to look.
Oh not planning to build one yet. But, would love to have all the information handy for the future. I built my first one in 2020. And, this was my formula - COmapred online prices foc components online, made an Excel sheet and prices were cheaper at Nehru place. SO, got CPU, RAM, PSU, Mobo, HDD at NP.
Ordered monitor, SSDs, Case online using the 10% instant discount on cards.
Any changes you recommend?
Nehru place, which store did you visit? C2C, smc? I usually find the pricing identical in various places, I just build based on the configs instead of pricing, if I like something I will get it now matter the cost, and sometimes I get way better deals on Amazon compared to any offline store in India, few months back I got myself a rx 6600 for 14.5k from Amazon while at Nehru place the starting price was 18k. It all boils down to compatibility and ease of use.
No, didn't go to any of those big name stores as their prices were more or less similar to online prices. Got good prices. But, yah, for each and every component, I had a list of prices in an Excel sheet to compare with online prices.
What's the config of the last PC you built?
BTW, where the rest of the party people at? A huge task infront of us. Road to 500! COme join us.
I5-12400, b760, 32gb 3200mt, sn770x 1tb, rtx 3060 12gb, 750w 80+g, built as an editing machine for him, his budget was limited or i would have gone with i512600k at least.
Party peeps sleeping, we will reach and I know that.
Was planning to reach there today, but, I guess, the target will have to be postponed to tomorrow.
Any reason why you chose 3060? Was 4060 prized crazy when you got it?
Yeah got 3060 for like 21K. The build was assembled in August.
It can still happen don't underestimate chefs power.
Oh, I see then. I don't think 4060 might have been worth that price in August anyways.
True. Hope Dustin comes with a banging announcement in tonight's session.
Yup it was around 28 and he said that he will upgrade within two years to a better one so yay, just rolled with it.
Flash sales, or swags who knows... I will need to keep an eye here.
Oh. Anyways, if he's not into advanced editing and AI and such, he should be fine with that 3060 for a few years.
Yah, one eye on the screen, finger on F5, the other eye on the scree as well.
Just started out with davinci resolve, might be transitioning to premier pro in an year of so.
Isn't Davinci Resolve the more advanced stuff?
I don't understand humans, he likes that and that, I can't do anything about it. it's all his choice. ๐
Yah, depends on personal preferences. We all love someone or something that everyone else in our group hates.
Oddities set a human apart from another.
That's how it works. Idk how many times I have discussed this specific topic irl.
