Hi @mbjones -- WordPress definitely has come a long way! We understand and relate, especially on the security aspect, especially with so many moving parts and third party plugins, etc. Over the years, we've put a lot of focus on securing our shared/reseller hosting environment and making it Wordpress optimized - introducing features like cpGuard which proactively scans for and blocks malware/exploits, along with providing automatic WordPress core updates.

The bandwidth meter resets on the 1st of each month automatically
In the rare event you do reach your bandwidth limit, you'll be sent multiple notifications via email when you're "nearing" the allotment for the month, followed by temporary turn off of the VPS until the bandwidth meter either resets on the 1st, or the bandwidth allocation is upgraded.
