OVH/Kimsufi
It doesn't fit the minimum requirements within the range.
I have a company who gives me:
What makes me reticent is the 10Mbit port. I need 100Mbps or 1Gbps shared.
Kimsufi has:
Core™ i5-750 2.66 GHz+ (quad)
16 GB Ram
2x 500 GB Hard drive
100mbps unmetered
for $35.00
Well, not a bad deal.
Although, Kimsufi has a 10€ set-up fee. Also, I think OVH will be removing this fee or even applying disccounts when paying yearly. That's good.
BUT: Is OVH and Kimsufi stable? I have been following them for a long time and I don't really like their policies.
On the other hand, isn't Kimsufi only available to people resident in France?
If OVH follows history, they'll be removing the setup fee. Kimsufi and OVH has been around for just over 10 years I believe, they're a huge broadband provider in the UK, so yes they are stable. Kimsufi is now available to everyone (from what Oles tells us).
What? Im in the UK and have never heard of OVH or KS doing broadband.
EDIT - I think you mean Broadband in France...
@skybucks100 OVH is a DSL and VoIP provider in France
Follow history? seriously? They added those fees BECAUSE it used to work better.
They remove the setup on 3-month payment I believe.
And the national websites still redirect to OVH site.
UK broadband provider? They don't even have physical presence in the UK, please check your fucking facts instead of talking shit.
@markturner - get him
Ya, sorry. I got my countries mixed up, France would make sense considering OVH is French.
Yes, I meant France.
You can just calm down, I made a simple mistake and how i'm I "talking shit" about anyone? I say broadband as in a general term for a high speed ISP. I don't know what your problem is, but i'm not 100% sure it's related to OVH...
FYI:
OVH
3 Southwark street
London SE1 1RQ
(since you insist I don't fact check, source: http://www.ovh.co.uk/support/termsofservice/payment.xml )
I don't even know how to respond to this....
@skybucks100 : he is from delimiterVPS who provides a Dual Xeon with 16GB memory in 20 USD.
I know...? What's your point?
@darknessends I missed that one - thanks. Must be losing my touch
@luissousa - Delimiter has a Dual X5150, 500GB Disk, 16GB RAM for $20/month (paid quarterly).
@skybucks100 : Inviting him to tell the customer about his offers.
I opened a new discussion copying in the latest offers I found on WHT.
calm down buddy!
Oh! I thought you were telling Mark to sick me or something like that! Gosh, I really shouldn't be on LET at 7am...
So, I bought the $20 server from DelimiterVPS.
