[OVH CA] 2x KS-LE-1 For Transfer At Cost + Searching For KS-LE-E/B

Account region is CA.

Offering up 2x KS-LE-1 servers at BHS for transfer at cost which is $23.98 USD (setup + 1st month). Both are as advertised.

KS-LE-1 #1 (ns512913)
- Location: BHS
- Newer SSDs
- YABS
- Smart Report sda
- Smart Report sdb

KS-LE-1 #2 (ns522784)
- Location: BHS
- Consistently better YABS bandwidth results
- YABS
- Smart Report sda
- Smart Report sdb

I'm searching for a KE-LE-E in BHS with HDDs if anyone has an extra or doesn't need theirs. Not willing to pay a scalpers fee for this though.

I'm looking for a lotto KS-LE-B NVME in GRA or LIM with 64gb of ram + 2x 1TB+ NVMEs I realize this is beyond unlikely but if you have one and are wanting a BHS lotto instead I have a KS-A that I could potentially trade.

My DMs are open, thanks.

  • Why trust you?

For the KS-LE-1s -- Probably because the reward to effort ratio to scam someone over $11/m servers just doesn't make sense. My reddit account is the same name and I've done several game/hardware swaps etc there if that somehow helps.

For the KS-LE-E -- I'll pay up front and if I get scammed then lesson learned.

For the KS-LE-B -- that trade isn't likely to happen regardless as those as so rare.

  • just a suggestion for newer members to help with trust:

    • send a full screenshot of the server from OVH panel that includes the IP and regular name given by OVH to it
    • send ssh credentials for that IP/servername for the potential buyer to be able to log into and check on hardware etc. to have some sort of verification on the product

of course that is no guarantue that everything goes through, but I think it at least can help with proving that the server actually exists ;-)

  • Sold #1 to @ishrak. Quick and easy sale after working through some OVH bugs. #2 is still open for grabs.

Out of curiousity, what OVH bugs?

Each time we did the contact change request it returned with an error and only 1 field was updated. So the first time it 'failed' but he became the technical contact. The second time it 'failed' and he became the billing contact. The third time it 'failed' he became the admin contact and then I couldn't see the server anymore and he said it reflected as his email address on all three on his side. So basically it was just a few more steps -- and this is the first time I've ever transferred an OVH service before so it might be par for the course.

    Thanks.
I remember someone describing the same bug in the main Kimsufi thread, perhaps with a CA account as well. I am not brave enough, so I won't attempt to find the post.
I've never seen this with EU accounts.

  • Good news is that it just took an extra minute or two and we didn’t need to get support involved. I’ll know to double and triple check in the future when doing transfers.

@muffin looks like it really is just OVH things 😂

  • Pls no. I don't like how that's becoming a common phrase about my preferred hosting provider.
