yeah, I didn't even ask for it... very much appreciate all you guys rooting for me here
@FAT32 feel free to edit your post to another key, like @COLBYLICIOUS who indeed was second I think. ;-)
@FAT32 - I didn't know you were also going for @Falzo and of course I don't want to be unfair to anyone. I'm doing it more for fun and as a "pay it forward" type of thing for whoever is trying hard (or the "oldies" that I'm familiar with and/or know).
I hope no one takes it in the wrong way.
Please do let me/us know if this is considered fair or not - I certainly don't intend to provide any unfair advantage or disadvantage to anyone on this thread.
P.S: Obviously Falzo promised me his left kidney and right hand (or maybe it was the other way around)
P.P.S: I hope the sarcasm doesn't go unnoticed. Just for the record... he never asked me to help either
as a cheapskate myself, I hope for some promotion still for existing clients, like 30% on credit topups or early renewals or the likes ;-)
If you guys wanna do that, I will post a key of another guy if this is legit.
I am at work so sometimes I can post an key from active guys here though. Unfortunately, my luck wasn't present until now.
the main question will be: who is going to sort out this 'key mess' in the end, to find all real winners ๐ ๐
I am actually not sure whether I can edit the post or not... I could edit Falzo's public key and there's basically 3 outcomes:
@Fat32...
I am sure he can try to make it easy for @HBAndrei
true, maybe just leave it as it is, highly likely @COLBYLICIOUS will get it then anyway.
I will probably continue for the fun of it to try a few more rounds whenever I have the time for it.
Hmm.. when we will receive any answer from @Andrei about this hard situation?
This looks like I have no sense of participation at all.
just prepare to already also look up each second post in case of duplicates or different rules kicking in. seems like there might be some second-be-first places after all.
I think that's a very good spirited reply @FAT32
My vote is that first priority should go to people posting for themselves (so @COLBYLICIOUS since he's posting for himself). 2nd dibs should be others who are posting to help folks (myself included) for fun.
Judging by the volumes, it looks like it's still very much people (and not bots) who're posting and so keeping the spirit of the contest alive.
EDIT: I mean for cases when there's a typo and an edit is being considered (assuming it is allowed).
If I may say so, as a general recommendation, I think that it wouldn't be a good idea to edit a public key after posting it
(Kind of similar to editing one's bid in an auction after posting it)
(Sorry going to work on something first, will wait for HBAndrei to reply)
@plumberg did you get one?
yeah I think bots might only help in posting while you are not available. and maybe narrow down a bit on the rough timing. however latency and response times from the server are not a constant at all, so luckily you cannot not just calculate it to perfection.
I also don't think it is really worth the effort to build something just for this.
Strictly speaking, since it's a matter of copying and pasting a public key, there shouldn't be a typo in the sense of getting a digit or two wrong
Naturally, if one copies and pastes the wrong key, then this is another matter, but then the answer should be something like "Well, sorry, you missed this one, we have to take the next person in line instead"
Next round in 15 min
Getting near again
Hopefully @HBAndrei responds soon. Would suck if someone thought they won by someone else posting their code so they stopped trying only to find out it wasn't valid.
