Don't give up. Most wins were after a number of attempts and a little tuning (but mostly luck). It is a little more predictable when there are fewer people trying (i.e. if you know it's a "dead" timezone from a popularity standpoint ahead of time). If there are too many people/posts, it's really just the luck of timing.
Well yes but the public key wouldn't change during an event so since plumberg posted in this thread before it should be the same one. Either way I will let Andrei to comment on the rules.
If this community is more about being selfish than selfless sure.

At the very least, both @bdl and I managed to succeed despite having an unstable mobile network connection. Personally, failures on a stable network, like a home fiber-optic connection, frustrate me because it clearly feels like my own mistake or bad luck. However, failures on a mobile network—an inherently unstable connection—make me feel more accepting, as they seem inevitable.
I am using a fiber connection. But the latency keeps fluctuating by a few ms because the laptop is connected by wifi. So it's a challenge to adjust the timing.
