This is turning out to be one really enjoyable thread with such great spirited participation. It is WAY better than the other useless spam generating threads and at least has a good purpose to it. I really feel like we're going back to the good old LE quality here where everyone is trying really hard and it's very fair in that everyone gets multiple chances.
Thanks @HBAndrei for really bringing back some good cheer around here.
Now for some thoughts...
If the time slot is "popular" and lots of people are going to try, you've to be a little earlier than usual - your request will likely be "queued" and the (DB) write will be slightly delayed in generating the final timestamp.
On the other hand, if it's not very popular, you need to get closer to :00 (i.e submit little later than usual) because the queue may be small and if you're too early, you'll get lumped in to the previous second, timestamp wise.
There's a fair bit of variability purely on the server side - so not even factoring the client side (i.e browser) latency it's already quite challenging to get things just right.
While there's some skill in getting close to that +/- milliseconds window that works for your particular connection, the (internet) randomness kicks in thereafter and makes it a pretty even/fair playground for our typical single-post participant.
I just feel like I've been incredibly lucky to sneak in whenever it happened. It was so frustrating till you make it through.
And I'm still enjoying following this thread, egging people one - it is so nice that there's so many chances and winners and hopefully everyone that tries hard enough gets a slot.
Cheers to everyone and keep going...
just a token refresh, nothing to see here...

I've got a good feeling about you picking it up soon! Now you're in the right ballpark
I'm surprised considering I'm on an el crapola LTE connection!

I also tried with LTE + Cloudflare Warp and succeeded
That said, it's best to avoid crowded places like stations or shopping malls.
