I also think there's a lot he's not saying.
Doubt it was a "normal bug", they manually did something with the stock logic.
I also don't think that they can't supply more KS-A's, they're keeping stock artificially low, wouldn't be suprised if the "bug" had to do with updating the logic for this.
We've seen very few delivered KS-A's, they ought to have A LOT more servers with that config.
Also, what about the EU locations that they launched it in, but never ever put up any stock for?
My guess is that they're purposefully trying to max PR with every move. Offer as few as possible even though there's a lot in stock, and maximize drama by listing locations that were never ever in stock, refunding orders, being vague, tweeting, etc.
After they deliver my 6, of course

The restock is exciting. And hopefully they will apply the limit to open orders not the active servers.

We can only take orders for servers that we actually have in stock. 4-5 days ago, by mistake, we reopened the order 2 times: for 102 seconds and 167 seconds. You were more than 1000 to have ordered these KS during these 3-4 minutes .. long live the APIs! But, unfortunately, we cannot deliver these orders. We will have to cancel them. Really sorry for the disappointment!
We will modify the KS order, to return to the historical limitations of 2 KS per customer. This will allow the greatest number of customers to benefit from these small KS. Can't you create a ticker to billing department and cancel your pending order? As it's not delivered yet I don't think there would be any issues with refunding you the amount.

To be honest, I think that this is fair to set a limit to 2 KS per customer, or at least with the KS that are bellow 20€.
The same should be applied to music concert tickets too ...

OVH is french, and they love to create taxes in France, so they should set a tax on idle KS servers...
