We are restarting it again to change some critical things.

  • haha now is better

    Load Average
    Last 1 minute 72.38
    Last 5 minutes 65.11
    Last 15 minutes 49.33

thats why i cant enter to my nextcloud freshly installed. if you need volunteers to move them to another server, count me in.

  • It seems that 40-50 cores on my node are running at boost frequency. Has anyone figured out a way to mine using this as well? :D

    Nice! but least!

  • Upload speed is very slow for me. I have been trying to push 30gb zipped file for 2-3 days without any success. I hope it will be smooth soon.

  • @labze
Why not just do a hard limit of CPU & I/O, at least first couple days, so that it can at least have some room to do normal things like SSH and stuff.

    It's a different paradigm

  • usually takes how long for the upload speed issue to be resolved? I've initiated an upload of a few TB and it's been taking over a week :)

November 25: Uploads permitted only for individuals whose names start with the letter "M"
November 26: Uploads are allowed exclusively for those born on the 5th of any month.
    November 27: ...

The load issue is purely IO related. CPU haven't reached above 10% at any time.

The load is caused by a kworker interrupt on the RAID array, causing temporary write halts. Diagnosing why this is happening.

  • Hi @labze, could you notify once the second instance is running so I can order? Or should I (or we I guess) just order now and hold until the second server is ready. Thanks!

You can just order if you'd like. No more orders will be on the old server.

  • @labze is all this on the DirectAdmin server, or are these issues for the Epyc Storage VPS Node?

  • Why is this not out of stock yet?

This is not true - any HDD operation causes high load on VPS node as well.

Sure, but I was asking if the conversation in this thread troubleshooting a specific problem is only a problem that's occurring (now) on the Direct Admin node. (Basically, are there known issues on the VPS plans too, or should they be working as designed)

  • Are the VPS's also delayed for setup? or just the DA storage ones?

  • ordered one, hope is in the new server, already have one in the first

  • I'm wondering why everyone keep trying to install Nextcloud.

That's a risky topic, an honest reply might instantly aggro both Nextcloud and Windows users.

  • Any timetable for delivery of EPYC Storage - 16TB - Germany service?

  • Ordered one of the cheap storage boxes... nice.

  • IO is kinda slow now, is the nvme cache really in place? Or it's already saturated?

  • @Fritz said:

lack of better alternative and convenience.
