This is the same rush as the time I won a microwave from some TV promotion deal (the other prize was a tour of a cheese factory, though I may be misremembering - this was easily 15+ years ago).

My strategy: I kept time.is/UTC open and I pressed "Post Comment" just after it went to ":59" (but not immediately!).

I hope so too. But knowing the crowd spread globally, I don't really think the people trying will reduce by a lot. So far only technically 24 folks have received give away, all the way to 168...

This is probably the most "fair" way of going about running a contest with the added benefit of being able to see who actually reads the rules before participating. Being able to see winners right away instead of having to wait to see is another added bonus!
