@noob404 and @Frobsy want to join me in making the LELUG?

    whats LELUG?

    Low End Linux User Group

What's it about? And, how can we contribute?

Linux User Group offers a vibrant community where you can learn, collaborate, and grow alongside like-minded individuals passionate about exploring the power and versatility of the Linux operating system in this case specifically on Low End machines or VPSes.

Isn't that very close to what LET and LES already do. And, do you mean a Discord or some other IM group or like a forum?

we could do a Discord, or a zulip instance, or a matrix instance

Yah, but, there's definitely already a lot of groups for that niche. I am not trying to discourage @DaDeveloper, but, only letting him know that he will have to bring something different to the table.

Is that a discord group already for LET or LES? I am in a few discord servers already but I dont really care for the way discord works, harder to make seperate threads unless you do a channel per or something. I was never really able to get into the groove of how discord works but lots of people find it popular

You mean articles? Still though, can you clarify what LELUG is? A forum, a blog, or something else?

BTW, how many merch GAs have already happened this time around? I am guessing only 1?

What was the merch GA that they did? I had not noticed it or just completely missed it. I know Dustin has sent around some merch on the side to people for which I am grateful :) I know there's a few people that have been trying to hype up a backpack give away at one point or another

Discord can be well-organised with 3rd party plugins. But, yah, you are right, I prefer forums and Stack Overflow.

Not gonna lie. It's a good idea. But, again, not discouraging, LET and LES already exist for that reason. What would set LELUG apart?

Oh I see. Again, that'd require us to have some well-known experts to create enough hype. Have you done any research? I am speaking from experience, spent months on projects that were meant to fail from the beginning, just because I didn't research. Not saying I am better now. Pretty sure I will fumble again. But, just saving another person the headache.
