Man I gotta remember that double-click to select doesn't copy the #

I think it shouldn't matter if you include the # or not. Saw dustin mention that elsewhere in another response to someone on the give aways. I looked at the post again too and it seems it indeed does not matter. See this part towards the top

"Including the hashtag (#) before the keyword is optional."

Oh that's a relief! I still missed it anyways, but good to know for the future.

    Well thanks to @noob404 :D

How are you this fast man, how many f5 push ups can you do a in one set?

I am even more surpised they can do it with those tiny dinosaur arms of theirs. I always heard they were not very good for picking things up. I can not imagine a dinosaur doing F5 push ups could be very efficient :)

Honestly I am not always fast, it is just that I see @dustinc is ready and I keep pressing the F5 button

Haha well you have really good reflexion, congrats!

You should consider MX Linux ISO as standard
This is one of the most distro for Linux having so much nicer GUI

    .

Thank You for this feedback! Awesome interface by the way.

How are you accessing it, via VNC or XRDP?

    NoMachine
    https://www.nomachine.com/

This is neat! Thank You for sharing this too.

@dev_vps Have you used it on lan? Curious about latency on lan as I have a few machines include macs that I wouldn't mind an all-in-one solution vs vnc/rdp/splashtop (so far the best I've found for my macs).

I use nomachine without any issues from India to Crunchbits US and the ping like 250-300ms.

Like, is it good enough to watch youtube or something and not have video/audio sync issues?

I am in Texas and NoMachine works for me even with Amsterdam based VPS.

Of course, RDP is my #1 choice for VPS with Windows Server OS or Windows 11 Enterprise OS.

NoMachine for VPS running Linux based OS desktop.

isn't there rdp on linux also xrdp something ? is that also bad ?

I had a comment I had just finished up, got lucky that I had just hit submit just in time to get back into F5 mode when dustin dropped that deal

I technically haven't, but @xpress7 hooked me up with a VPS so I'm all good. B) Give it to someone else who needs it.

  • I am gonna actually log out (hopefully) of LET till my work for the day is done. Will be back if/when the work's done.

@CTRL Keep climbing the ladder up. Even if you win the Gaming PC, you can switch it for credits.
@Beniskickbutt Keep firing, as well, dude!
@sh97 @MrEd @FAT32 @hutao @Frobsy Look out for the GAs. I am gonna be offline for a few hours.

For me, xrdp never worked even at vnc level. NoMachine works so much better even with YouTube streaming video.

One thing, I would like to mention HostHatch custom console is pretty cool. And, the best part, it is browser based.

I did! I got of the 1GB vps in dallas the other day, think I won it Thursday Cant remember when exactly. Its already set up and getting some use ;) I am not sure I would have too much use for a dublin one actually but would not mind giving it back to someone else if I had won this one

  • Okay, this time, I am actually logging off for a few. Please nobody post anything interesting. I actually need this logoff.
