Steamdeck would be awsesome. I have been wanting to get one for a while but just have not pulled the trigger yet. I want them to get a little more mileage on it.. I have the steam link and the steam controller and I was really disappointed they dropped those 2 so fast. Steam link is a nice easy way to get my library in multiple places in the house. I guess steam deck should also be able to accomplish that as well though.. Steam link was dirt cheap though
where are the giveaways at go go go
Not true, OLED has faster pixel response times than the other panel types and better contrast.
formatting your PC should be enough
Yup, given, there's always the chance of the green lines appearing on anything OLED and obviously burn-ins.
yeah, I love my oled deck. Just wish it was encrypted storage so i could actually use it like a portable machine (I'll probably work on some encrypted container someday)

Realised that today, after I went away for quite a few hours yesterday.
my pc is down I won't make it
Isn't it just Linux?
F in the chat
Ha I have not even done that yet.. I have so many notifications and I just watch the number count up and up. I usally only catch replies if i happened to scroll by them. I try to scroll through all the pages from my last login/viewiing to see who has replied to me but 99% sure I miss a majority of the replies
Would you still recommend SteamLink in 2024?
Don't give up.
I hate microsoft
Yeah, apologies to anyone who replies to me directly and I missed their reply.
It's Arch. You can do pretty much anything with it.
same
That'd be a lot of apologies then.
yeah but without bringing a keyboard with you, you can't really use luks (I guess with the last bios update, there's technically the virtual tpm one could use)
of course! I still use it often enough. Granted you cant run super demanding games on it, it works awesome for a majority of the games. Its really nice when you want to do a multiple player game and I have guests over. You dont have to huddle around a PC or sit near a tv that is wired upt to the PC. Just grab the controllers and start playing via steam link
Hey so far I think I'm doing pretty good at catching them all.
isnt nvidia shield just better ?
Found this https://github.com/hirak99/steam_deck_encryption
where are the giveaways
The question on everyone's mind...
Thanks, but, won't a Steam Deck be a better option in current times, disregarding the price ofcourse? Wonder why Steam Links are still in demand.
They serve different use cases.
LOL! Was just kidding. Actually meant the weird quote notification system LET has.
lets go giveaway time g go go
