How should image hosting make money?

My brothers! Come and share your ideas. I recently researched and launched imgfans. I have rented 3 servers and have not seen any hope of further profit. Do you have any suggestions? If I shut it down, I will be in a state of doing nothing again. Because I have been unemployed for a long time, I have to try to find a zero-point business. Image hosting is something I thought of temporarily. After drinking dozens of cups of coffee, it has become what it is now. It looks good and has people visiting it every day, but in fact, the way to make profits in the future is still very narrow. I don’t want to go bankrupt because of this. I am unwilling to do so.

Mentally strong people do not ask for business ideas for free.

    Image hosting is saturated market.
You can never compete with large providers if you don't have economy of scale.

  • only new "image hosting" projects I've seen making money recently are those catering to niche communities and charging for extra features or access.
and even they are marginally profitable.

  • Close to reduce losses.

  • Standardise your software and sell. Let others do the mistake by trying to monetize unmonetizable.

This is a completely new direction of thinking for me.

If you can somehow garner organic traffic, start placing ads in your site, that's one of the best ways to quickly start earning. But don't expect to earn much from the start.. May be add a subscription model with limitations for free users and plethora of features for paid users, make them attractive.

No. Imgur. That’s it. No one will pay for something free and better. And before he garners necessary user base cp images will shut down him.

That’s what I’m planning on doing now, but it may take a long time to wait, including organic traffic.

But this offer hinders me from getting more users, which is contradictory.

    1. put free users on 48 hours image deletion automatically.
    2. charge subscription like $1 to $4 a month plans for more image retention period / more space.
    3. Make some features exclusively available to subscription users. Like hotlinking.
    4. put CPM ads. lots of ad networks there like adsterra, and admaven and many.
