Yeah in theory.
I need to sleep
I sure hope so!
Apart from the Black and White, I'd love to see some in RackNerd logo's colours, Blue, Black and White or their gradients. Maybe some with awesome captions. And, for us to commemorate the threads and GAs, I'd love to see some with the Chef on it. Maybe the Chef sprinkling salt like powder which magically converts to a server when it hits the plate or something like that.
Howdy - here's some pics (not the best pics) but you'll get the general idea.
Same. I'm getting a headache staying up. Midnight here. Need to go to bed. Going to bed
I need to sleep too but may wait just a little longer
Yeah, someone who is smarter/knows that type of stuff (I don't). I would totally buy it if someone did (I know I'm not that only one that wants a trackpoint option on them)
Yah, but, do they allow for advanced components yet - 40 Series GPU, etc.?
it is early morning here
Nope. That's the only thing holding me back from them right now.
You could try contacting them. Their company much like RackNerd and LET appreciates and thrives on community support.
Soon dude. Pretty soon. Be prepared. It may be any day, any hour, any minute.
Everybody needs to. But, I got priorities, Ig.
Found this https://x.com/FrameworkPuter/status/1812905294219125102

Is it the same material as last year?
That's pretty cool.
They know a lot from the old thinkpad community has been asking for it! Since they were focusing on their 16in line (wasn't out at the time), I figured they would eventually come back to it. They could seriously take a lot of thinkpad users since thinkpads has been getting less replacable/upgradable
AINT-NO-PARTY-LIKE-A-RACKNERD-PARTY!
Wish they somehow brought that in as well. But, did you see what Snapdragon is doing nowadays with the 8 Elite 2? It is even capable of emulating X86 games, rather smoothly. I believe soon, it's gonna be the era of ARM.
Beast! I'm still on a 3090, personally, but it does so well, IMO. I will upgrade my GPUs, to 5090s (home and office) once they're available.
Ain't this exactly what you were looking for @PuDLeZ ?
Whew! I think the 3090 still outperforms a 4070. And certainly has more VRAM.
It's confirmed, everyone loves ya here
He's back! I knew once you were in, you'd make regular visits to the thread!
I think it is, but it might never see the light of day. It's some guy making it and no idea what his plans are tbh. He might stop at some point. Maybe make a guide to do this, or sell keyboards.
Yah totally. If at all they could provide better spec options in terms of CPU and GPU, their userbase would expand exponentially.
basically yeah but that's early stages, I would want something a little more finished. I know it's just a matter of time since I'm not the only one that wants a trackpoint option
Turns out a $3 trillion company is hard to play ball with, who would have guessed?
Oh, I thought these were from a 3rd party manufacturer. But, anyways, pretty sure, there's a niche market for this. Might just popup on Indiegogo sometime in the near future. No one knows.
