Awesome, what happens when you break R as well?

    Use this instead. https://gprivate.com/6edse

Rebinding is always an option. We were just playing around.

Another option is to learn how to program, than create a program to press F5 when you hit another key. Or crash windows somehow. Don't ask how because you'll never be able to replicate the bug.

Another option would be to just use voice commands or even set it to automatically reload every 1 second or less, and only stop the reload when a key is pressed.

yeah, I didn't actually break it though I have probably taken some life away from it. I forget how many keypress a thinkpad keyboard is rated for though it's a T series so it's super easy to replace.

Thinkpads are usually sturdy. Is it an older one though. Those were as sturdy as the Nokia 3310. Newer Thinkpads aren't that strong, from what I've heard.

They're still better than most but sadly, they went the route of basically everything soldered except the nvme. I've only had to replace the keyboard when a bunch of snow fell on it (was outside since it was a nice day) and a couple of keys stopped working

Alright, guys. Keep the party alive, and hype it up. In a few days, we will also have the Chef. It's gonna get 10x crazier than now. So, even if you lose a few GAs, don't feel bad. Consider that practice for what's to come.

Oh that's where "Chef" comes from.... Now I get it, looks like everyone is gonna win big!!!

Oh.. is Chef FrankZ? I kept interpreting it as Dustin. The Chef/Creator who is cooking up all these deals. Is it instead that FrankZ is the chef of cooking up all the comments? Ope. If it helps us get some more GAs, i am all for it. Next GA when!?

Kinda correct. Party people like FrankZ had a major role in making sure the Chef made his appearance.

Every one second reload sounds horrible. Even if you implemented to reload after the page fully refreshes, you might not pause it in time and refresh when your trying to read the giveaway. Maybe 5 seconds is min. Max 10 tbh.

@FrankZ -- How's the RackNerd shirts holding up? We also have a new design, if you're interested B)

New design. Can't wait. BTW, any new colours available?

As of now, the shirts are black. I personally had some white ones made and they look good too. So we might make some of those. But with the new design, black looks great too. Any suggested colors for the future?

That's too cheap of Lenovo to destroy something considered a basic necessity. The sturdy build and upgradability made ThinkPads, ThinkPads. Slowly, these big companies seem to be taking everything we love, away. Ig, Asus started the trend of soldered RAMs on low-mid-end laptops, and then, everyone started copying it blindly. Feel bad for the new MSI Modern laptops that have pre-soldered RAM with no additional slots.

Oh yah. Cause he serves them flash sales and GAs much like an exclusive chef does his dishes to his exclusive clients.

Haha yeah, can't wait to see what the Chef cooks up for us! Hope I can grab one of those tasty deals this time.

You can and you will. Just make sure you have a fast internet connection and a payment method all ready to go on your RN account. The prices are gonna get crazy during these flash sales. So, they are swept up within a second or two.

Thanks for the pro tip! I'll add my card to my Racknerd account now to make sure not to forget.

Yah, last time many missed out on great deals. So, Dustin recommended this, iirc.

Also in general, it never hurts to pre-register ;)

Best laptops seem to be framework, at least upgrade wise. But it sucks if you want to pick a laptop you can upgrade later if only one company does it, as you don't have options, just whatever they have.

Yah, the number was arbitrary. Even so, with 5 seconds too, I am pretty sure, stopping the reload might end up in a bigger messup. Not taking that risk.
