    How does that comment similarity thing work, I got three and I'm not sure how and when was it.

    Similarity is calculated by Levenstein Distance. If your distance is 3 or less (hardcoded for short messages like "Page 142" and "Page 143" the distance would be 1, but by length it would be 87.5% similar), or if your messages are more than 90% similar, then they are considered similar. Posting images, youtube links and so on are immediatelly similar to previous such message. Only text in the message is compared.

    I can confirm that your "similar" posts are the ones where you posted plain images and youtube links :)

    Good to know.. I assume most of my similar posts were also coming from the giveaways. They pretty much encourage you to make similar posts and also destory your average word count :) We need to get one that asks everyone to write some multi sentence responses

    I was also curious what ChatGPT thinks about similar posts in this thread so I asked it to check out how many similar posts were here. Seems a lot of people like to talk about the giveaways.

    The RackNerd Black Friday discussion thread on LowEndTalk features many posts of a similar nature, such as participants requesting bandwidth upgrades or expressing excitement for deals and giveaways. Specific repetitive trends include users asking for "double bandwidth" on orders and posting the hashtag #I-LOVE-RACKNERD-GIVEAWAYS to join promotional activities.     I keep hearing about FrankZ. I saw the stats from prior years yesterday and he was pretty high up .. To hard to find that post again now. Sounds like people are expecting he may actually rocket his way to the top
