    You wouldn't need to F5 contiguously. Just at the right moment and with proper gaps in between the F5's. Too slow you miss, too fast you loose concentration.

    Last time around there were set time periods for when to expect GAs, except the Chef episode that is. But, this time, I think, it's unpredictable.

    Schengen area is bigger then EU, but doesn't include full Europe :) But if you have the Schengen visa, you can move freely through the countries ;)
