    Why would you ever run Windows on a server?

    He is more used to windows, and doesn't like to compromise his knowledge and use something new especially when it comes to security

    Haha he is using Windows machines for tasks I'm not entirely sure about, but they probably relate to trading or anything that requires a desktop view. When I mentioned security, he once mentioned that he likes to safeguard his RDP by disabling administrator access, much like the root user in Linux. I don’t know much about Windows, so I’ll let him do what he prefers.
