If a person gets pissed of by a captcha

Look at it from this perspective: I don't even open a web page if I know there's a captcha waiting on the other side. I stopped selling on eBay when they introduced the Cloudflare browser control. Software ought to be fucking controllable. Hotkeys and programmable. No control = dead to me.

    It's a perspective.

Maybe it is time for LET to return back to its roots: a Black Friday megathread unorganized, unstructured, without someone working days on in advance, just to end up making it easy for potential abusers and even harder for provider's support later. Maybe it is time for providers to step in and offer what they can (what they actually can afford) on recession, themselves, just to see those abusers keeping the hype up for once and get involved on LET to squeeze the offers.

It is easy for abusers to have scripts and bots ready and milk the cow, when someone does all the work at the farm behind the scenes in advance. I want to see those abusers at least contributing on LET with some hype or GIFs. The only way for this to happen would be to return back to LET roots.

It will be up to providers to have captcha (which I guess they already have against abusers), and the people with affiliated links will need to work overtime for their links by actually contributing to squeeze their income.

I consider the idea of @FAT32 to not get involved as a good idea. Maybe providers need some rest too, and maybe we're all too damn greedy sometimes, taking things for granted.

Meanwhile I shall take a moment and say "thank you" to @FAT32 for all his involvement in the past. Nobody can ever judge a honorable member if he decides take a break. Respect.

No, I'm a good idler too. You have to retrain the model and reclassify the data.

I'd classify you as one of the "entitled" from your past posts on offers.

Not sure I'd go with what you are suggesting here based on your prior engagement.

Sure. I agree everybody is "entitled" to an opinion, including you, even though opinions are an expression of freedom, yet not mandatory. However, to formally answer your accusation, here is a just a tiny sample.

Now I "feel entitled" to challenge you to do the same.

  • Bad news! No confidence to such providers!

Going on a tangent cause a provider wanted to only sell to usa customers to celebrate a USA holiday is optimal entitlement

And now you spam every offer he makes with same crap cause you got butthurt

I dont care to look farther back at how many other provider threads you do this on if you feel offended

Your link was a reply as discomfort from me to DataIdeas. Indeed I was dissatisfied with how he advertised a service to just some clients, on an international forum. It still is my opinion and it was a public feedback for him, not for you. I am not butthurt, I am over it, no longer using their services and not missing their services either. I am sure they don't miss me either  so everything is grand from both sides, customer and provider.

Now with regards to your opinion, I do not know if I should care about it. Thank you for your attention though. My challenge is still up. Show me what you got and how you contribute to this board. I challenge you to do better than I ever did !!!

Until then... you're like... whatever... to me at least (not that my opinion matters anyway in this regard).

  • I'm a casual observer. I don't post everyday on here and don't care to..What you considered as a contribution doesn't mean anything to me after I saw how you responded in the July 4 thread.

When I see providers make offers and then see the spam posts from people feeling they are entitled to something not being offered it is annoying and I'm sure a pain in the ass for the providers to have to answer.

But as you say we all have an opinion, but having an opinion doesn't entitle you to something

Good for you, I guess, whatever floats your boat.

What you considered as a contribution doesn't mean anything to me after I saw how you responded in the July 4 thread.

Thanks for the feedback. My opinion in that regard stays, whether you like it or not. I don't care about what you think of my opinions; I don't care about what you think about my contributions either; I want you to know this - maybe you'll have a good sleep clearing that up. Please be better than me if you care that much - this is highly important for our evolution as humanity so we don't repeat other's mistakes. It is why I challenged you to be better than me around here.

I was not entitled to anything. It was just my opinion. Back then what really bothered me was the segregation displayed on an international forum, not the offer itself. I don't know if I needed that offer anyway. It was my feedback of something that I felt upon reading it as a separation of members within a community, not upon needing the offers.

But as you say we all have an opinion, but having an opinion doesn't entitle you to something

I am not entitled to anything. However, feedback for providers is always appreciated around here, whether it is negative or positive. That way they may improve on their services. I still see what I said as a feedback. If it is perceived from outside as something else, so be it, maybe I should have formulated it differently, but the substance remains the same.

  • I can only be glad that I didn't run any important services on it.

No racism, segregation, anti semitism or whatever else was intended as he laid it out clearly in the offer

You read wayyyy too much into it...It was an offer to celebrate a USA holiday, nothing more, nothing less. No feedback was needed to improve anything

From outside looking in it looked as tho you felt entitled to the offer..

As a side note, good to disagree, without either name calling here, rarely happens anymore

So next black friday deals coming with many providers soon, which are promotional or discounted plans, can we assure their lifetime renewability?

Honestly I might call off the organised BF Megathread Flash Sale this year due to disappointment and the amount of uncertainties even for a host I trust the most. But I better not make any decision at midnight and I will think a bit more when I wake up tomorrow.

The email to Providers got buried in spam. It was definitely a lot easier when we would just message offers directly to you, rather then opening a ticket.

We stopped offering cheap yearly deals for random events. We are only doing them for Black Friday because it helps out as we get a bit of extra change in to help with bonuses for the holidays and prepare for tax season.

The flash sale VPS I purchased from you during Black Friday 2022 (when you were still central.so) is still running actively :D

  • :o I haven't set it up yet.

I'm idling other $2000 VPS, even stop them after provider reboot server.

    Memory:
    4608 MB
    CPU:
    3 Core(s)
    Storage:
    125 GB
    Traffic:
    5120 GB

For $22.69 is like a steal, it's even cheaper than Massivegrid.
I planned to use it for learning docker.
Now I'm happy, don't have to renew it.

Idling 2k worth of servers? Are you out of your mind? What is even point of wasting so much money if you don't intend to use it. Is this some sort of disease which I'm not aware of?
