I don't want to miss, again, the chance to buy a good offer :(

That would somewhat depend on your use case?

  • Thanks for the API instructions, @adns

Ordered three KS-LE-1's with base config (16GB, 2x480) two in BHS, one in GRA.

All came with E3-1245v2, 32GB DDR3 non-ECC, 2x960GB SSD Intel model SSDSC2KB960G8. Network 300M/1G IPv4 on all, one BHS and the GRA have 1G/1G IPv6. Disks were all aged 3.5 to 5 years, ranging from 20 to 683 TBW.

  • Got an KS-LE-1 and really tempted with the SYS-LE-2 due to the UK location too..

Buy KSE-LE-1, it's the most basic and cheapest server. Worse case it idles, best case, you idle it for years like I do.

That's the reason why OVH is stopping refunding you the setup fees.
I had to argue with them to get it back.

Yeah they pay for it, or transfer it for a cost and make money. Right now, the new popular is, harvesting these hot deals and offering it to transfer others in return of money.

And by money, I don't mean the server + setup fees, they are asking for extra.

I guess this is the exact definition of scalping right? Just like what people do with concert tickets. New low in humanity.

It's supply and demand. People find it worth even when it's higher than the advertised price, and they're ok with it. Can't blame the scalpers if it's still under high demand :)
