    I would like to, but here we need all the AD stuff. + we have a lot of work with MS based infrastructure, like MSDTC and so on. I don't thing there is a way to replace that on linux.

    I would say 50-50 for local or MS account. On my personal laptop (even though it doesn't support Win11, its 12 years old - Asus N56VZ), I am using the MS account. The SSO you get is still a bonus, what you wouldn't have with local account.
