made an order on KS-A, OVH closed my account and suspended my server

    I have told you everything I have done, with no concealment or deception. I have not done anything wrong and have never initiated any disputes. Previously, during Black Friday, I purchased a new machine while the contract for my old machine had not yet expired. OVH informed me that the contract could not be canceled before its expiration. I continued to pay for over three months until the contract for the old machine expired, even though the old machine was unused and vacant.

    I trust ovh so much, as I hold server on OVH for 5 years, no accident before. at 1st and 2rd year, i do backups, but so long time, I trust them, and not do a backup. I called OVH, and told me only can do is to wait for french security team to check it in 1-2 business day

    Yeah, good luck with that. one time, the one time I had to call OVH France on a customers behave, they could not understand 'American English' :lol:
    Of course, I do speak French, and that did help resolve the issue. I had the sexiest French teacher in high-school. :wink:

    I register the account on OVH.IE, about 3 years ago, and at the beginning ,I told the team, I'm a Chinese, and I uploaded my passport, and chinese company paper to OVH, they passed it. I'm not using any fake information and trying to cheat the team,
    just the country option have no china, so I choosed Hongkong. others is my real information, real name, real phone, real email, real address

    Given what you say (that they approved you three years ago and that you've been a reliable customer since then), I agree that OVH's sudden decision to cancel your account is puzzling and frustrating

    But it really sounds like you triggered their system of automatic checks when you tried to order again and that you failed their automatic checks this time. (Something like this)

    Yes, if I would be chinese, talk to OVH, maybe you can prevent your account from getting terminated if you ticket them, explain it. BEFORE you pay anything or TRIGGER anything, that could flag your account.

    Because if something is fishy, the system probably flags your acc and the guy checking it, just sees wrong country and your account goes bye bye.

    Its worth a try, no guarantee though....
    Try to look as legit as you can.

    i can't give you the contact information of the account manager, they are assigned to manage. I've tried to others and he doesn't offer support.

    seems failed to contact her, her ovh email is not reachable, maybe she resigned from ovh already

    I can accept cancel the order of KS-A, but really confused to close my account an suspend my old server, I have my data on the server, and now even don't have any chance to transfer the data. it's so frustrade, it makes a big lose of money, and may lose job soon.

    yes, I used my real name and real address, only the country is wrong, as OVH don't have a choise for China, so I choosed Hongkong as a option. same name on OVH and paypal

    Well man, you knew you are not welcome and still tried to fool them. Doesn't mean I agree with what they've done, but you've had 5 years to find hosting that has China in country list.

  • I am from US but have been using OVH.ie and OVH (France), i just use like fake address, should i open ticket asking them to help me out or something or will they just close my account?
