Hello,
May I have some recommendations for a VPS provider that allows (/is friendly towards) leftist speech? I've read through many forum discussions, reviews, I've reached out to several providers, and I have a spreadsheet with columns and various colors... yet I'm still overwhlemed and I can't figure out who is the most credible. I'm looking for some final comments to sway me, and perhaps other good people in the future, towards a final verdict. Thank you for your time and thoughts!
What do I mean by leftist speech? Potentially: whatever the right-wing have hosted on providers recommended by LowEndTalk users without being banned/censored/deplatformed, but equal and opposite. I won't be doing anything that the right-wing has gotten banned for (but equal and opposite).
Requirements:
- VPS or Dedicated Server
- 1x IPv4. at least /125 IPv6.
- Not necessarily bullet-proof (would be nice, but can't afford...)
- Won't ban Full Disk Encryption (but I don't need help setting it up)
- Fiat currency is fine
- Not located in Germany
- Not located in Texass (free speech isn't legal there)
- No hard budget, but the cheaper the better.

- Don't post any general phrases similar to "if it's legal", "anything legal", "as long as its not illegal"... yes, lands have laws - we're here partially to discuss which land is best (for this topic).

I think you might need to do your own research on speech laws and come up with a list of countries, then look for providers in these countries.
"Left wing" can be many things and (to reference a post above) Moldova is great or is not great for them, depending on the particular type. On the other hand if your brand of "left-wing" is anti-Israel (and that's the problem with German law) and not pro-Russia, Moldova looks perfectly good. Pro-LGBT is legally clear there too. Unlike Georgia (the country in the Caucasus) or Hungary.
I did NOT state my own position on any issue and I do hope we can avoid political debate in this thread! My only point is that different countries crack down on different speech and there is no single "perfect free speech" spot.
