made an order on KS-A, OVH closed my account and suspended my server

I'm a loyal customer on OVH, and hold several servers on ovh.ie and kimsufi for 5 years. I renewed my server month by month with my own paypal. I hold all my websites on OVH, and trust ovh.

this month ,I made 3 orders of KS-LE-B, paid by paypal, and credit card. OVH valiadation team cancelled all the order. I complainted and asked why it's cancelled, just get an email said against article 2.1 and 2.2, I tried to find something on OVH, but can't get any information for article 2.1 and 2.2. I'm sad, but have no methods to get solved. someone told me maybe because the IP, I'm from China, OVH.ie is not so fast to China, so I used a proxy to login my account, and it's always ok to renew my server.

today, I made a new order of KS-A, I tried to login my account with Chinese IP, not proxy, and few minutes later, i found my account closed, then I received an email, my old server also was suspended. this server renewed over 2 years, and I just renewed it on Nov 1st, the expiry time is middle of Dec.
I have my websites on this old server, and really feel down right now.

I made a call to OVH,but he told me a bad news. he can't reopen the account, because the IE team is off work, what I can do is to wait for Franch security department check it in 1-2 business days.
I asked if I can get my data back first, so I can keep my web online. but also failed.

Really feel frustraded.

I trust OVH so much, now they close the account so sudden, and lose my data. I hold my website to make some money, and it really makes a big lose.

if OVH team here on LET, I hope you can help me to get my account and data back soon.

    They closed all your account or the new orders, because they cancel orders that they can not fulfill?

  • Restore from backup to a server with a different provider, and move on.
    Or get a layer I guess.
    Can you legally have an account in IE if you are a Chinese resident?

  • in the screenshot it's visible that the email clearly states, that the service in question has not been paid for. maybe something went wrong on the last renewal? check the invoices or your payment provider if the amount really has been deducted until you can login back into your account and see what is going on.

    the not paid $11.2 is KS-LE-B, OVH cancelled it.
    old server is $44.5, and paid NOV 1st

    Why not choose HZ or ColoCrossing, they won't delete user's account. :*
    Choose ovh is not a good plan or event worse.

  • seems strange then. probably your only chance is to try again with the support till you find someone who can clarify and help you better.

    maybe u need to contact them for more support.

    You might be innocent but I have seen quite some people on Nodeseek or Hostloc submitting fake company ID information to get VAT exemption too.

    If you submit all real information there should be nothing to be afraid of.

    Woah, story sounds brutal but I guess that's just a hint of how many people have done bad that they had to operate in such a manner. I still think though that based on your track record, they shouldn't have just suspended/cancelled everything.

    they closed all the servers, not new orders. the whole account closed. i don't speak french, so have no idea what to do now. really sad

    Do you at least have backups? If not, you should ask If they can open the account for 24 hours so you can get them backed up. @OVH_APAC
