Hetzner Outage: Finland - Germany C-Lion cable is cut. (We all know who did it).

To be honest, since Finland is the most affected as of now, and 90 % of LET users servers in Finland is with Hetzner, this is basically a Hetzner story
Wild claims that this was allegedly the first time this submarine was cut. I remember well that there was plenty of disruptions before, some of which you can even find with Google: https://status.hetzner.com/incident/de97a4ef-deb6-416e-92a7-9264d160519a
turdie gonna be turdie, imagine talk sense to turdie scalpers or basement dwelling schizo tech bros
Russian spy ships have been caught several times mapping undersea infrastructure with their AIS (Automatic Identification System) disconnected.
It is common for naval ships to escort Russian spy ships out of territorial waters in countries across the region. Similarly, our air force regularly escorts Russian military aircraft away from our airspace.
Russia has also jammed GPS signals in the area on multiple occasions.
When we closed our harbors to Russian ships, the last Russian vessel to enter (a rusty, old ship) failed to stop as it approached the Danish harbor, causing some damage.
No other country engages in these kinds of provocations, so it is only natural that everyone suspects Russia.
There's no point in damaging something that can be repaired in 5-15 days. Underwater cables failure rate is 1-2 or more cables per month worldwide, sometimes three cables can fail at the same time - but who cares if it's Vietnam, right.

Let's stop theorizing and just wait for results.
Lithuania-Sweden line was also cut, so it's clear who did it.

Some kind of announcement soon. roughly 30 minutes.
Everyone = EC, USA, UK and dependent countries.
Very simple logic which confirms that the USA destroyed Nord Streams.
You got some examples of any other country blatantly jamming GPS? This is not the first time fiber was cut in the baltic sea after sightings of russian ships.
Romas stole the cable, melted it, and sold the cooper! they do it all the time
**This is not the first time fiber was cut in the baltic sea after sightings of russian ships. **
I haven't seen any real evidence. Only unsubstantiated statements from Western media and politicians.
Regards GPS - that is Global Positioning System developed by USA and operated by the United States Space Force. Russia has the full right to do whatever it needs on its own territory, including fighting GPS signals. Unfortunately, it is not possible to deal with GPS point-by-point. Therefore, in Moscow, we cannot use navigation systems if they use GPS in some areas. This is unfortunate collateral damage.
Actually, at the moment GPS is being spoofed in Moscow. For example, if you are on a highway near Khimki, most navigation apps will position you at SVO.
Let's hear more of your racist commentary and "we all know who did it" please. 🤡
Sir, this is Fiber not cooper.
Imagine their surprise when they figured it out, too. So much work for nothing.
Must be the same sub that blew up Nord Stream 2.
Sir, how do you know that? please return the Fiber to Hetzner
Some OSINT people seem to have evidence that it was a Chinese ship: https://bsky.app/profile/garygnutter.bsky.social/post/3lbcqy7wk222j
The EU is calling it sabotage: https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/19/europe/sabotage-undersea-cables-cut-baltic-sea-intl/index.html
The EU is refusing to say China did it. Everybody is saying Russia did it. Russia is happy people think they did it because they're too sh*t to do it, but the Chinese don't care because it's done and nobody dares to blame them for doing it
The Chinese ship Yi Peng 3, which has been in Russia (Laukaansuu Harbor) and was spotted near both of the severed cables in the Baltic Sea, is currently being escorted out of Danish territory. This ship, along with others, is under investigation by authorities in NATO countries for potential sabotage. Another Chinese vessel is the prime suspect in similar sabotage of another Finnish cable last year.
It’s starting to seem like Russia wants NATO to babysit all vessels in the Baltic Sea traveling to and from Russia. Additionally, it appears that Russia might be seeking stricter regulations that would make it harder for their shadow fleet to operate in the Baltic Sea. This could also prevent them and their partners from having their LNG ships serviced in high-quality shipyards located in NATO countries, as they currently do.
EU politicians have been discussing replacing Russian LNG with LNG from the US for some time. This kind of sabotage in EU/NATO countries might accelerate the process and trigger a new round of sanctions.
@Maounique, how significant do you think the impact on the Russian economy would be if Russia could no longer have its ships (regardless of their registration) serviced in EU/NATO countries, and if they also lost their LNG sales to the remaining EU countries that still purchase from them?
Everyone fears China more than they do Russia.
Suppose China decides to go with North Korea's Juche ideology, and take some loss as well, half of the companies in the world are gonna directly collapse because absolutely everything is still made in China. Let's not even get started about it's military, economic collapse alone is more fearful than Russia using few nukes in Ukraine or EU.
You did not ask me, but about zero.
Theres plenty of countries willing to serve them around asia and middle east and south america and africa. And they can handle themselves in EU.
Which country in EU still uses Russian LNG gas from ships?
Ok, yet another chinese chip dropping anchor in a storm.

There's no connection between Hetzner in Finland and OVH right now:
Can confirm from multiple OVH dc. Other providers still can connect to Hetzner HEL.
Edit: to be more precise: can confirm for OVH in European dcs as well as Canada and OVH US Dcs.. Asian DCs (where OVH colos) can still connect to Hetzner HEL.
Can also confirm
65.109.73.2

I'm sure OVH is trying everything they can to stop bots hosted in Hetzner HEL to hammer their Kimsufi API.

Can still connect to PulsedMedia from Germany. It just goes through DE-CIX or Sweden
