  • Also down for me, and 3rd outage in the past few months. Every time I wonder why on earth do they use the same infra for their website??

There is a massive power outage in the datacenter and the whole region in general. Other providers are affected as well.

It is working fine now, but you need to put your website in other place so we can reach you!

It will happen soon, our website is on our main infrastructure temporarily and it will be moved as soon as possible.

  • Server down?

  • all down.

  • Would be nice to get some type of notification / update.

  • The official website cannot be opened? Is it a glitch?
My website cannot be opened either

  • Server failure? I can't connect to or access the official website.

Our NL infrastructure is fully down including all web and VPS nodes/dedicated. We are trying to contact our network provider to figure out why. Looks like our network provider is fully down as well.

    Yup, it sucks.

LOL - Eygelshoven is nowhere near water and the fiber connections used are all fully landbased.

Anyway, @Bullethost: Not a good experience having quite a number of incidents since obtaining the VPS in July...

The issue occurred because his upstream AS208046 experienced a failure, and there was also a power outage at the data center during that time.

There's always a reason ofcourse. Fact is that there were a number of issues that caused significant periods of unavailability during roughly the last half year; resulting in an pingable host for just below 97% of the time I had it. There can be lots of excuses and an equal amount of reasons for it, but it's simply not what you'd expect IMHO.

Beside the already numerous times mentioned "don't put all your eggs in one basket" thing regarding hosting the website on the same infrastructure.

I also think this is really bad, especially in the past two months, there have been too many failures.

Doesn't seem to be; VPS came back online a few moments ago and has been up all the time. However network wasn't available.

When these downtimes happen is there not a SLA where the provider gets fined for outages like these?

Can we then get a free month code?

    Edit please

  • My server has had 0 downtime today.

  • BullethostBullethost Member, Host Rep

The issue wasn't coming from us directly but instead our upstream had an outage - a problem from a line card. The issue is resolved now and no downtime is expected.

Regarding the web server for our website, yes there is a reason it's on our internal infrastructure at the moment and as I said it will be resolved as soon as possible.

To be honest: I don't care if the issue was on your side or by a provider of services that is on your side; I have a agreement with your company, and your service was out for quite some time again.

In July/August it was "DDoS", then it was "Oops, network maintenance that was scheduled to be almost without downtime suddenly took a weekend", then it was "SFP issues", "Power outage and oops we don't have enough generator capacity" and now it is "issues at our network provider". All may be legit in their own right, but I get the feeling that you use them as excuses and take them as a fact, while they are really unacceptable in a professional environment. If you think that 97% uptime is acceptable for your service, please tell us now, so we, customers, know what to expect.

    as soon as possible.

Will keep that in mind when somebody asks me when I need to pay my bills. I'll do it as soon as possible.

I love (small) hosters and am always giving them the benefit of the doubt, but at a certain point they must prove that they have a professional attitude.

Problems can always arise, it's the way you handle them that prove if you're professional or not.

I think he is refer to the client area on the main website, not the VPS control panel.

I just checked it and found the issue. Recently we updated WHMCS and it looks like it doesn't function correctly with the older version of Google Captcha. I tested it after the change and everything seems to function correctly.
