Popcorn is cooking.
Fair, sorry for the extra posts, didn't mean to do that.
I never received ANY emails regarding ANY order or service. I did have access to their portal for a day. Unfortunately I didn't think anything of it so didn't screenshot anything.
News flash. Even smart people get scammed.
paypal will prob refund all of it
Yea I know. Just sucks. Also honestly just want LEB to pull their ad until they figure this out. I genuinely don't want anyone getting their money taken and the ad is still up.

I think there is more than enough here to warrant them looking into it. If I'm lying they can put it back up. If I'm not they saved some other poor chap money.
As for the refund that's not the point. I have protection against fraud. I'm not worried about that.
To anyone that commented here. Thank you. Sorry if I came across defensive. I'm naturally pretty upset about this, but thank you for prompting me to get proof, etc.
TLDR:
Signed up for $24.99/month Turbo-8 Service with Oceanhost.

Oceanhost turned off access to my portal and proceeded to charge me nearly $1650.00.

@oceanhostllc is banned from this forum despite being listed as point of contact on LEB ad. I have started the dispute process.

My access to the Oceanhost portal has been blocked and I am no longer able to access services or submit tickets. I have submitted tickets to them outside of the portal, however this company does not send emails or invoices. I have never received a single email from them.
At worst, Oceanhost is a scammer. At best Oceanhost has major billing issues. DO NOT BUY FROM OCEANHOST. BUYER BEWARE.
It does seem a bit weird; looks like Oceanhost has had two accounts here (both now banned, and no sign of a tag on either) so I don't quite understand what the hell LEB were thinking in the first place - let along leaving that offer up.
What gives @raindog308 ?
This. Thank you for understanding. The ad is still up. Take it down. At least until an investigation is done. It's not even an affiliate link.
I also tried to just now submit another ticket through their website "contact us" page. It just refreshes. Nothing is submitted.
He's in on it.
I don't know about that. No proof of it. But he does need to remove the link for sure.
UPDATE: Kevin from Oceanhost reached out via a chat thread that I had started on their site. I did finally receive an email from them as well. According to Oceanhost, the account was compromised and my email was changed, which is why the emails did not come through. While I have no way of verifying this, I also have no reason to doubt them, considering they took the time to reach out to me. It does appear that they are looking into this. MORE IMPORTANTLY, it does appear that they are going to do the right thing and get my money refunded and that they are actively working on this. Once this is resolved I'll update again.
For a few reasons, and it was on October 30
Huh now the LEB post is 404'd.
An explainer on what those few reasons are would be nice, it does help add context.
I'm sure a mistake was made somewhere with this. They at least took down the ad for the time being. I don't know. The company really did seem willing to work with me. Had a 10 minute chat conversation. They didn't have to do that. I'm not sure what to think about the whole thing at this point. I'll have to wait for PayPal to respond.
Update: The day after I disputed these charges, I received an email from Oceanhost requesting I drop the cases as their account had been locked due to these charges being disputed. Unfortunately I did not feel comfortable with this. The next day I lost my disputes for unauthorized charges with PayPal.
I reached out to PayPal regarding this and they changed the dispute type. They advised that it could take 10 days for me to receive a status update as they needed to give the merchant time to respond. Within a few hours I had received word that PayPal found in my favor and had refunded my money. I am not sure if Oceanhost responded to their case agreeing with me or what caused this quick of a turnaround. I will give Oceanhost the benefit of the doubt on this.
I have put a lot of thought into this. I still don't understand how this happened without a bad billing issue on their end or a bad actor on their end. I used a brand new randomized email and a randomized 18 digit password. They stated that my account was compromised. I don't understand how that could have happened. Could it have happened? Of course. It just doesn't jive with security practices I normally take.
TLDR: I got my money back. It does appear that Oceanhost assisted with this as best I can tell. Regardless, I'd still caution doing business based off of this ordeal. Thanks to everyone that commented and drew attention to this. Had you not done that I'd probably still be trying to figure stuff out.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. As previously mentioned, we faced a difficult situation at that time. Due to multiple unexpected orders being placed from the user's account, our system flagged it as suspicious activity, leading to the temporary suspension of the account for security reasons.
We promptly reached out via email to notify the user about these unusual orders and were prepared to issue a refund. However, before contacting us, the user initiated a dispute, which unfortunately led to PayPal restricting our account.
Despite this, all chargebacks were ultimately ruled in our favor. However, in good faith and to resolve the matter amicably, we worked within PayPal’s system to ensure the user received a full refund.
In the end, the user got their money back, and we appreciate their acknowledgment of our efforts in assisting with the resolution. We understand their concerns and always strive to improve security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
We truly value our customers' trust and appreciate the community's feedback. If anyone has any concerns, our support team is always available to assist.
"We are responding to this post after a long delay because our LowEnd account was also suspended. However, a few days ago, we were unbanned after providing a proper explanation to the community team."
