My personal experience with any sort of Indian staff is absolutely horrible. They have no sense of urgency and time constrains, time is absolutely relative to them. It doesn't matter if something gets fixed or done in 5 minutes or in 3 days, as long as it happens in this life-time. Might be a cultural thing, I have no idea, but for me it's annoying as hell.
Last experience that comes to mind was when a server had an outage, they investigated for an hour and their conclusions were "sir the server is offline, we can't check it". This was one hour after they said "we are checking it"

It's not that all server management services provided by Indians are bad. We also manage servers for our clients in India who host high-traffic eCommerce websites on dedicated servers, and we handle issues even at 2 AM if necessary. As you know, downtime is not tolerated in eCommerce – if we miss an issue, we risk losing the client. However, we offer this service only to clients for whom we build eCommerce websites, as it's part of our all-in-one package: we build the website and manage it. That said, there are some providers who do not maintain high standards.
