The Edit VPS Operation in step 4 (Operation ID 8493) might have been conducted to make certain configuration changes or adjustments to the VPS. Here are some common reasons:
1. Resource Adjustment: This could involve modifying the VPS hardware configuration (such as CPU, memory, or storage) to better meet the current application requirements.
2. Network Configuration Changes: The edit operation may include changes to network settings, such as adjusting IP addresses, firewall rules, or port settings, to enhance security or optimize network performance.
3. Software Environment Changes: This might involve adjustments to the operating system or installed software on the VPS, such as version updates, patch installations, or parameter modifications, to meet new application requirements or security standards.
4. User Access Control: Editing the VPS permissions settings could be done to add or remove users, adjust access rights, and ensure that only authorized users have access to the system.
5. Performance Optimization or Troubleshooting: If performance issues or system faults were detected in previous usage, editing the VPS could be aimed at troubleshooting and resolving these issues.

One dog everything, EvosHosting, Dasabo, DeluxHost
Over time, you will also realize that all this is done by 1 person.
It's a matter of time.
Davee
You were deemed insignificant and not worthy of a response.
I am more interrested where’s $20K from @Calin and @GoSSDHosting transaction mades a couple of months ago. A drama for $5 a year have no interrest. Sorry
Hey, I'll take the liberty of responding since you mentioned us.
What you say is not only false, but also defamatory and without a shred of evidence, we are a legal company with a legal entity, we are different people working on different networks.
The law in Italy in this area is strict and controls every little detail.
Personal advice, before you say something about topics you obviously don't know, make sure it is so, otherwise you could risk a lot of legal problems in your future 😉
Wondering why so many providers are hiding behind ‘defamation’ and ‘slander’ when they receive some criticism lately.
It’s an incredibly hard thing to prove at court. But it seems easy to scare someone with a lawsuit. Very convenient. Sometimes I’m wondering if they just have a big ego, or these are 16 year olds who have learnt a new word. Can’t imagine any adult provider with a lot of experience and knowledge would keep hiding behind a law.
From what I can read, it is difficult to understand a text.
You simply cannot afford to go around saying things that you KNOW are false just to defame a company, in this case more than one.
I didn't say I'll do something against him, it's just advice for his future, since these are serious things and before saying something you need to have evidence.
I don't know what country you're from, but these are serious things here in Europe.
If you think this is a game, I suggest you leave your house and put a sign in front of a restaurant that says "THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING HERE" Without ever having gone to eat, but only to annoy the owners that poor people do their job.
I advise you to at least think before you write something.
DeluxHost treats their customers well and honors a 14-day no-questions-asked refund policy.
Now get back to Dasabo drama.
Thanks.

Sorry, @DeluxHost, but that’s a poor mindset. I live in The Netherlands, a country where we have freedom of speech and it is allowed to speak your mind. I can tell you, over the past years, there have been some defamation cases. These cases where not about companies who felt criticized too hard, but mostly people. For example, press that spread gossips and are falsly digging into Dutch celebs lives.
There have been businesses who threatened with defamation cases as soon as they got some criticism. For example, a webshop threatened me with juridical problems if I wouldn’t remove a negative review about them. Needless to say, I have posted the review and never deleted it. Why? Because defamation is very hard to prove. No sane judge is going to condemn anyone for saying a restaurant is bad.
If I bought a pizza somewhere and didn’t like it, I would write a review that I don’t like the pizza. If I see the owner picking his nose while baking the pizza, I would write that too. That’s no defamation, it is based on your own experiences.
Even though some hosting businesses over here are eager to harvest positive feedback and start talking about defamation over and over again, I’m sure most of them never went to court over it. Let people speak their mind and learn of the feedback provided.
I don’t need your advise about what I can write or what not. I’m polite, my posts are conform the rules of LET and I only speak my mind. If we are going to advise each other, I’d say, speak to a lawyer. Because no sane court is going to condemn someone over his negative opinion. I wish those providers here would stop talking about defamation, as it is not the case.
Defamation includes slander or libel but tsss, this is secret. Hard to prove depends on the jurisdiction where you are bringing the claim, in some jurisdictions it is ridiculously easy to start the claim at least.
Exactly. I don’t know where @DeluxHost comes from. I know in the US defamation cases are popular. But I’m convinced that no one is going to start a case against me in The Netherlands. And probably also not at the country where the hosting provider is from. Prosecuting someone over defamation and extraditing someone from a foreign country for slander or libel, is just very unlikely.
Do these providers really have experience with such court cases, or are they only threatning, so customers would delete their negative reviews?
Look at this thread. The customer had a clear issue and was right, and the first thing that happens, is a provider talking about defamation as a self defense mechanism. In the end, the provider is at fault. Do we really need these legal threats, then? If the customer wouldn’t be allowed to express his concerns, this problem would never been noticed anyway.
Look, you don't seem like a bad person to me and probably what you say is in good faith, but I can tell you that you are mixing things up.
One thing is to try an item or product and give a review, another thing is to say as the guy did, without proof or anything else, that we are all under one person, and that in short, we are a scam.
I think you can understood the point well.
I did not order you to write what I want, but simply some advice for the future outside of this forum, When you say something, you need to have evidence and be able to prove what you say, I think that beyond a logical thing, it is also a NORMAL thing.
As mentioned, we have all the documents in order and can demonstrate the falsity to anyone who asks.
I think you're very confused between fair criticism and defamatory review.
In Italy there is a severe jurisdiction on defamation, but I repeat, that does not interest us, that was not the point.
We just wanted to make it clear that before you say something you need to have proof, otherwise if what you say harms me, it becomes a problem.
I advise you to reread what we have written and I think you can understand our motivations.
I don't want to create drama or anything, so you're free to think what you want, but we believe we've only said an objective truth.
I wish you a good day ❣️
In Italy there can be a strict law on defamation, but I can assure you, there will be almost no possibility to have a foreign person extradited for defamation to Italy. Especially when that person doesn’t fall under local juridisction and there is almost no proof.
That’s why I wish we could stop that talk about defamation and legal issues. Part of running a business is handling negative reviews, without diving behind local laws. I see it as a way to shut down people who are not writing positively about a provider. It will be the last post of me on this matter, but in my opinion, LET should add to the rules that threatning someone with juridical issues is an offense. I’m done with these posts.
man, you betrayed yourself, with that winking smiley sub... you did the same thing at evoshosting in the comments.. big lol
lol
edit: im beginning to enjoy the italian hosts even more than the romanians.
