I will never buy from a scalper, I'd rather not have a server at all if I had to get one that way.

which DC for -C? GRA or BHS?

  • It's the 8th day waiting for servers

  • worst hosting ever, if you run in to problems, their support cannot do anything whether it is billing errors, hardware issues, networking issue.

They will be expensive even for A FREE SERVER (if they provide)

    Nothing but a regular headache

  • I'm hoping for some good offers on BF.
    Then I can replace my 3x Enterprise SP-64 - 64G E5-1620v2 SoftRaid 4x2 TB servers (about 8 years old).

Support is always a hit and miss. Not just with OVH, many other big label providers.

But it also depends on what you deem as a problem vs whether it being a problem. Too often there is a mismatch in the expectations. For eg hardware wise a disk with high power on hours but no SMART errors is a let down to an average user, but not to them. For billing, not getting a refund due to commitment is also usual. Atleast these are most common ones.

I do not know why your experience has been so bad. But overall for the prices you pay, I feel their support has been decent.

Several people here have had hardware swapped including myself and getting decently quick responses.

  • @plumberg it took them 4 months to sort billing errors from sep 2022 to january next year. They overcharged for 2 years by sending fake invoices when i pointed out they just went numb. All reviews are on truspilot including mine. Thousands of people cannot be wrong.

as i said earlier They will be expensive even for A FREE SERVER (if they provide)

only provider i avoid like a rash

Ahh, yes, another issue you pointed out.

Fake invoices. All companies love to do that.

Well it's good you pointed this out. I am sure this will determine everyone else from buying any services from here. If only you had notified 100 pages earlier.

    Lol.

Scalpers are holding on to these for a couple weeks to see if they score a bigger lottery and then all these will be liquidated

Taking away the chances for people who actually just want a server, even the default one. That’s the reason some of us have to wait so long.

It’s nothing new though there’s always been scalpers especially around blackfriday, snooze ya lose

  • Are the French on holiday again today? I didn't see anyone else's servers being delivered :)

    Thanked by 1purplefips
  • Yeah, I'm also waiting
Actually, I'm also curious, did anyone order on the 8th (KS-LE-B)?

But I think there was a delivery today early morning for some, although not sure

I guess it isn't only scalpers, I got the B and E because I was unsure of which one I wanted and still tried to go for the KS-2 lottery. I obviously don't need this many servers and will probably even let got my old Atom KS1 2TB.

I'm just waiting to see what's coming up on the BF.

  • If anyone has KS-LE-B (NVME) or KS-LE-E (Sata or Sata + NVME) for sale, please pm me the price, thanks.

  • Hi, a question about OVH servers.
Once the server is hired, is it possible to request OVH to add memory or disk to a Kimsufi server?
I have a KIMSUFI server that I need to add more RAM to.
