One of the worst VPN providers I ever used... their chrome/mozilla extensions as well as the apps are not working, basically just placeholders to trick people to think they have those apps..

This is indeed a scam. I bought a lifetime plan before like two years ago, and it doesn't work anymore, whenever I try to connect it's asking me to purchase a plan. Apparently their lifetime plans has a yearly expiry.

I haven't encountered any issues that couldn't be resolved with a reinstall or update of the app on Windows or Mac.

I trust ProtonVPN more than FastestVPN.

If you use their OpenVPN profiles, it does indeed work. It has been quite stable for me for the last few months. Can't vouch for longer than that, though.

Only the Server-Speeds are inconistent and you can't get the wireguard configs for using it in 3rd party software like wireguard client or so.
If you dont need that... it is good.

Advanced features are paid extra, and they’re not even a one-time payment. For example, dedicated IP costs $31.2/2 years. Very misleading advertisement.

@ehab I used to use them in the past. Cheap bang for the buck, unblocks some stuff, speeds are fine, too.
But bad news about owners like the ones mentioned below made me stop using them recently. I'd definitely refrain from using their proprietary apps and only use manual configs if any.

Not worth going with Fastest IMHO. Bought a $20 lifetime plan and was near instantly invalidated for my needs. (Not their fault.) I come back a year or two later to find that they’re slow as balls and half of the servers don’t connect, even on my home network. You’re better off with (in my biased opinion) Windscribe or Mullvad VPN

Dunno, I have bought the lifetime in 2022 and have used it ever since. Some servers do not connect, sure, but you can use it to unblock stuff and browse the web that way. Chrome extension works for me, as well as the Android app.
I wouldn't trust them with my passwords though.
