Well, if this is a proper and trustworthy company you should have an invoice and an order confirmation. One of those needs to contain the following information: When did you order, what exactly did you order, how mouch did you pay? and how long the contract is. Check your mail, if you have hard proof, just post it here.

Its astonishing how many bad sheep there are in this industry. I dont want to throw shit, but from my experience those cheap low-trier providers try to scam each and every € they can get. Some sell false traffic limitations, some sell powerfull machines which are then migrated to low power nodes / cheaper nodes. Some just suspend your account based on false accusations and no proof.

@Hosting Provider: Youre passive-aggressive and emotional. Since those are simple virtual machines accessing them is as easy as making a coffee. You do not appear trustworthy and above all professional. Mind your attitude towards your paying customers! No one creates an accusation of this kind just for shit and giggles.

I can add, stop screaming/crying for help from forum admins.

    Could you hibernate them?

Did you check how many similar automated non-human triggered moves done by the virtualiser?

This is only possible if the user specifically requests a node change by opening a ticket, in general we never move VMs from one node to another it is against our internal policy.

I apologise publicly, the initially checked logs did not show any movement and I was firmly convinced of this because we do not change nodes manually for any user unless requested to do so.
For some reason on November 10, 2024, 10:19 pm the virtualiser moved your VM to another node, we are already doing all the necessary checks to understand what triggered this process.
I am immediately taking action to move your VM to the initial node with the 7950X3D CPU.
As you could see we are not deleting any logs or traces, I was just looking in the wrong place and I could never imagine such an automatic process happening and at the moment I don't know why it was done.
Once again I apologise on our part and hope you understand that this was not done voluntarily or by a human being.

Your first response was not professional. The market is highly competitive and, as a potential customer, I don't really care which provider I buy from. For many, this kind of behavior can be the deciding factor in their purchasing decision. Many people here search for the company name and read through individual posts and if they see such a response, whether justified or not, many will decide in favor of another provider. Image and reputation can give you wings or bring you down. IMO you should compensate OP as a a sign of good will and as an apology

I understand this, we try to have quality customers and not quantity.
But put yourself in our shoes too, being publicly attacked for something that we as humans don't do by internal company choice is not nice and I have to defend our name.
After a long and thorough check I actually detected the problem the customer was complaining about and publicly apologised.
If I had wanted to pull a scam I would have erased all traces and continued with my line of thinking, this was not the case, having detected the error I publicly apologised.

Yes, thought this too, but disregarded it because a small business owner who felt that his brand is taking a hit and that the accusation is a lie would be angry too

That is precisely the difference. This behavior is the turning point between a successful company and just another fish in a very large pond.

My father passed on the following wisdom to me 20 years ago (German): Wer mit den großen Hunden pissen möchte, muss auch das Bein hoch bekommen. Which (roughly translated) means: If you want to piss with the big dogs, you have to get your leg up.

Props at this point for @Dsabo, not everyone has the balls to publicly apologize, let alone admit a mistake. I know building your own business is like fathering a child. Thus being protective is only natural. I don't really want to lecture you, but in my many years of IT work-expirience I have come across the wildest sht you can imagine. The two most important things (for me, as I tend to be emotional as well) are: Never answer to anything in an emotional state of mind and the truth lies in the middle (weird German proverb).
