  • I will be satisfied with what I have ordered, I don’t need much anyway as it’s just for AI translations which is cheaper to run on the LE-B (or, right now, on my LE-C) than it is on my home server due to the power consumption/costs.

I will high likely be able to drop 2x KS-LE old ones.
Since I am switching entirely to KS-LE-B.

    Roughly 16$/m ovh ca account, 4 cores, 32gig, 2x 900GB SSD
I didn't migrate my stuff yet, but willing to let them go relatively cheap.

    YABS will follow.

    What location?

    GRA and BHS

    My first KS-LE-B in GRA:
    CPU E3-1270 v6 instead of E3-1245 v5
    2x 1.92TB NVME instead of 2x 450GB NVME

    My second KS-LE-B in GRA
    CPU E3-1230 v6 instead of E3-1245 v5
    2x 1.2TB NVME instead of 2x 450GB NVME

should i worry about 1.5 PB TBW? :open_mouth:

    smartctl below from 2x 1.92TB

1.5 PB shouldn't be a problem for the 2TB PM983 drives they're rated at 3,000 TBW. Wish my KS-LE-B's weren't provisioned so quick now, the later ones seem to be getting nice lottery wins

There is 628 TBW, don't confuse read and write guys.

Data Units Read: 2,931,807,609 [1.50 PB]
Data Units Written: 1,227,413,436 [628 TB]

2x1.92tb nvmes surely beats all the other lottery upgrades we’ve seen on the LE-B

For that price you will probably find 1000s of people to take a KS-LE-B server. Not that I'm not interested in one though ;)

Yes this is probably peak KS-LE-B, unless someone gets that on a 10G network

I hear having three KS-LE-B in GRA with 2x.192TB + 64GB ram + E3-1270 v6 in one account is a bad omen. Quick, transfer one to somebody nice.

Also waiting, same time and OVH CA too. Maybe they are doing all the OVH EU ones first so they don’t fall foul of EU rules.

I think they've sold way too much of them and now they're using other old but better servers just so they don't have to cancel all orders.

Not all orders have been delivered, mine hasn't and I ordered it the 6th at 18:34 (EU Time) in GRA.

Might not get delivered at all worst case scenario, I'll stick to my LE-C if that's the case.

Mine was ordered in GRA, nothing yet.

Pretty weird though that they're randomly delivering these. Some have ordered 2 and they literally got the last order first lmao.

I have an EU account with orders from 5th and 6th, so I can't tell they are prioritizing EU accounts. I mean I'm happy for those who got great upgrades but in the same time it just feels weird to see people getting their orders from 7th delivered.

Maybe I'm lucky in the lottery and I'm getting an even bigger upgrade.

It will be nothing to do with EU rules, OVH EU accounts take priority of OVH CA accounts for European DCs (vice versa with BHS). Once all the outstanding orders in EU are fulfilled, the CA accounts may get a chance.

ui, so higher chance for my KS-A.
Explains why my KS-LE-B took longer though.
