(Storage) VPS - Netherlands / Germany - <$8

Hey all,

first of all, hello to everyone here. I've been reading for a while but finally managed to register.
I am looking for a Server to host and stream some audiobooks, run a reverse Proxy and some other light stuff. Storage is my main goal here.

VZ Type:
ANY!

Number of Cores: 2+
RAM: 4+
Disk Space: 3tb+
Disk Type: hybrid with small ssd (30+gb would ne nice)

Bandwidth: 2tb+
Port Speed: 1gb/s

DDoS Protection:
No

Number of IPs:
1

Location:
Netherlands / Germany

Budget:
Max $8, either most value for money or lowest price for minimum specs would be nice 😊

Billing: Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly all fine..

Crypto payments would be a Bonus

Thanks in advance

The only partial match that I see under $8 is this KVM, using the annual payment discount:

    HostBrr — $7.50 / month ($90 / year)
    1 Intel Cores (shared)
    6144 MB RAM
    3000 GB NVMe-cached HDD
    9000 GB/month bandwidth
    1.0 Gbps port speed
    IPv4 + IPv6
    Hosted in Germany

It doesn't have a separate boot disk exposed to the VM, but the storage HDD is cached onto an NVMe disk by the hypervisor. That's all I found at this budget, if you absolutely need the 2 cores I think you'd need a higher budget. Or wait for the Black Friday craze.
More affiliated results on my LET aggregator.

Host c can be squeezed in if location is flexible.

  • Thank you for the quick reply, i will check the suggestions out and probably wait until black friday just in case.

Vouch for @Chunkserve in NL. Not sure about the storage, if he can work something out then he should be able to provide you a good deal.

If streaming books, which is a rather low-bandwidth task is the primary goal, then looking for a machine nearby may be not so important.

I can suggest a couple of fitting options, but on the east coast with a good connectivity to Europe (that's what I'm using myself).

Let me know if that is of any interest.
