A short Avoro/DataForest review after 100+ days of usage
Hello,
This is a Sponsored VPS, but I was not told to write this review by Avoro/DataForest.
I was allocated a 'Rootserver S' by @dataforest on 19th July 2024(Proof) for an Arch Linux Mirror. Why does this matter? Well, the VPS has served over 100TB bandwidth till today(4 Nov 2024) in 108 days! and it was never down even for a second, so it definitely deserves some praises.
You can perform a simple curl on https://de.arch.niranjan.co/stats and you can find the live usage updated every 5 minutes. Here's a link to pastebin.com which lists the bandwidth usage by months and a few recent days.

YABS completed in 12 min 30 sec
This YABS was performed while the VPS was receiving traffic! These number are wayyyy too good for a machine that costs <10EUR/month! I would also like to add that this is the second most used mirror in all of my mirrors. Here are some DNS Resolution Stats from CF for the last 24hours.
Long story short, if you want something reliable and fast, +1 for @dataforest, thank you for sponsoring this beast machine!

Comments
I have dedicated servers with them. Great uptime and premium support. Great job @dataforest

But you went ahead and wrote it 🙄🤔
???
It is one thing if they said "you don't really need to write a review about the service, whether positive or negative", but they said "DO NOT write a review", if this what the above quote says.
So why do it, then tell us that they told you not to?🙄🤔😄😄
You may feel your praise is worthy, but they may feel confident in their service as well as their customers confidence in their service that they don't need it or seek it.
…that’s not what he said. He “wasn’t told” to write the review, as in he took it upon himself to write the review without them asking for it. Not that he was told not to write a review
Arch BTW.
Arch FTW!
Arch Master Race!
My bad, my eye/brain combination is deceiving me.
Due apologies to @niranjan
No problem!
