    Yes, so with ZFS you can dedicated some amount of your RAM for caching. Rule of thumb I heard somewhere was at least 1GB per TB storage

    You can even dedicate SSDs as read and/or write caches next to ram as well (not sure if mdadm does that)

    Why I do like it with Proxmox especially is, that you can for one, read and write the guest os (at least for containers) from the hypervisor, as those are basically just subvolumes in the zfs pool.
    And because of those subvolumes, making snapshots (and/or using this for backing up) is kinda instant (zfs uses COW on snapshots afaik).
    You also can enable other features, such as compression and/or deduplication very easily (enable and disable to some extent as you wish)

    I just used the default installer from OVH for this ZFS setup, but I will reinstall later today. But try it out if you can, I do like it very much and I'd say it's pretty mature

    My KS-LE-A come 2 hrs ago with 300/1000 ipv4 nd 1000/1000 ipv6, very long hour and bad hdd

    Ext4 on Raid5 , maybe ZFS gonna be better ?

    Bought two KS-LE-C's in BHS. Both with 64 GB ECC DDR4 and E5-1630v4. Not bad IMO.

    One had memory failure and only a single 16 GB stick was working. I was worried they would make it 32GB but they replaced the RAM and put 64 GB back in.

    Why is that?

    must be a config error. The yabs score looks normal. The disk has about 38k hours running.
