Now that the problem is solved we want to make a little note on what happened.
It seems that the packet loss problem is not caused by PletX, our anti DDoS provider, but by some routing issues, which we have just fixed, We definitely believe.
PletX Had drops yesterday due to a faulty fiber cable in Frankfurt, Which they fixed, but since we couldn't afford to be offline we redirected traffic to aurologic.
At the moment all our prefixes are on aurologic and we will see if we can go back to PletX soon or wait until their PoP in Germany is ready.
We say this for the sake of fairness, since PletX remains one of the best providers we have ever had in terms of DDoS protection.

Is the bandwidth unlimited every month? Then why is it only 5 TB?
Nobody said it's unlimited, it's Fair use.
5TB is fair use, then if it's a little more it's not a problem, But if you start using 10TB per month it's too much.
Then you should write clearly how much the bandwidth is instead of writing unlimited bandwidth, which can easily lead to misunderstanding. So in fact, the maximum bandwidth that can be used is only 10T, right?

Why do you care how much bandwidth I use? Even if I only use 10GB of bandwidth a month, you should be realistic instead of writing unlimited bandwidth when it is actually limited to 10TB.

In all hosting sites the wording "unlimited bandwidth" accompanied by the words Fair use means that I do not place a real rigid limit on your traffic, in fact the thing is very flexible, If you use 7TB, for me it's still ok for example, but there are rightly restrictions for a fair use of resources, which on a vps are shared, and not just yours. This helps us avoid abuses that could impact other customers, if you want an intensive use of the bandwidth you can always buy a dedicated server, the vps, are not made for these jobs.
We also pay for the bandwidth, unfortunately it's not free.

We don't want to push our current systems too hard with already many customers on them.
You should call it unmetered then as that would more align with what you are saying. As a consumer I know I would be dissapointed learning that my "unlimited" resource was more limited than most many standard bandwidth limits, as most German providers usually are quite generous with bandwidth.

I guess it means how far the 'Fair use' phrase is. If the offer says 'unlimited' or 'unmetered' **and ** there is no asterisk or 'Fair Use' phrase around, I would presume it is truly unmetered. Otherwise, it is a disappointment. In case of Deluxhost it clearly says in brackets (fair use), so everything is good.
I don't really agree, honestly we clearly specify that it is Fair Use, And honestly using more than 5TB is difficult, so if you exceed that, you are not making moderate use of the resources that are given to you. Beyond that, I do not know at least from memory, hosting that offers bandwidth Completely unlimited on vps and no additional costs.
What we do is completely in line with the standards of many hosting in Europe and around the world.
As mentioned, if you exceed 5TB we do not block your VPS immediately, we can also go to 6/7TB, since there is no rigid limit set.
