for dev it can still work.
but AI & Production it needs c1vhosting cloud providers.

  • Something interesting is that if I try to communicate between my two KS-LE-x servers in GRA1 via ipv6, it does not work (ping, ssh etc). But from outside no problem.

    Fuck ipv6 I guess.

I have KS-LE-E in BHS for transfer if anyone interested in getting one. Just the regular offer with 4x2 TB.

if you guys didnt want the server why you want transfer now? that happens and people cant get server now

people pick up a ton in case some get cancelled, take the better specced ones that might be in lot they gathered, then idle/cancel/transfer (at cost or higher price) the rest. Pretty typical, especially with ovh.

  • I guess its just a waiting game to see what servers do get delivered!

  • We are going to be waiting awhile:

Regarding your request via chat, I would like to inform that orders *** and *** are currently in doing and server creation is in process. Unfortunately I can not confirm an estimation delivery time for now.

For order ***** the estimation delivery time has been set up for 2025-01-29 and for order MY KS-A :) has been set up for 2024-11-11.

They must’ve got sick of cancelling tons of orders for the KS-A…sucks for me as I’ve been cancelled twice

  • Would be pretty surprised if they would actually deliver them… Pretty sure just OVH-things with an uninformed Employee, who treats it like any other service.

I didn't even have a chance to place an order. :'(

  • Well I cancelled all orders except the KSA as they said i'll have the 11th.

    I don't want to wait till 2025.

  • how is refund policy with KS ? did you get set up fees refunded too if you asked for a refund after few days ?

If you get your server delivered, sometimes you have to argue to get your setup fee refunded.
At least on my side, otherwise they do a full refund.

  • @magnock said:

That's what happens when I cancel an order within the 14 days period. I get a refund of the setup fees and of the unused days of service (aka pro rata).

  • I got full refund since nothing was delivered.

  • Just requested a refund of KS-LE-B in GRA that never delivered after 24 hours. Picked up a KS-LE-C instead. Intel Xeon E5-1630 v4 instead of v2, 64 GB of RAM instead of 32, Micron SSDs with 5600 power-on hours.

  • I don't intend to ask for a refund.
I'll be waiting days, months and years for my KS-LE-B.

But yes, they really need to fix the order system. I can't imagine the effort it takes for support to answer all these people for 10€-15€ servers.

How did you cancel the order by a ticket or called them?

I don’t think support cares, they get paid the same regardless if it’s a 10€ euro or a 2000€ server (I’d assume)

Ticket. But, until they reply to say they've cancelled and refunded, let's not assume this is the best method.

Of course, I was talking about the company's efficiency.
It pushes you to order more than you need. To end up with nothing or too many chickens.

  • If anyone has a KS-A and wants to transfer, I am interested, I can pay whatever you want :#
