    Please lock it in for the price lock forever and other benefits.

    I can see the server uses slower drives as you can look at the benchmark in the above comment, is there anyway the drives speed can be improved? Also the GB6 scores are not that good despite going for 8 vCPU's. Anyway we can improve this as well by changing the server to a better one with faster drive speeds & better processing speeds while still keeping a similar around price?

    Also what's wrong with the network speeds? It's not consistent and mostly the tests failed.

    Yes, quite alot that's why I am going to check it out for a while, I really hoped that it would be better but the GB6 single core speeds are very awful compared to AMD EPYC based VPS servers and the multicore speeds are also not great as well.

    Indeed our current backup plans start at 1TB ($30/month). We’re using R1Soft and the license for each backup agent is pretty expensive so it wouldn’t make much difference in the end price if we’re offering less than 1TB plans.

    And you’re correct about Proxmox Backup Server. This is what we plan to roll out and integrate in our existing products. In that case the backup plans will make more sense to your point.

    We plan to start rolling out the new backups Q1 2025.

    Thanks for the reply - I thought I would install proxmox on the VM and then backup to my own PBS, however my VM shows VM-x/AMD-V : Disabled although other peoples yabs shows it is enabled?
    Is this a problem with my VM ?

    This is a VPS server from Contabo, although they are not good on terms alot since they will delete your server data quite soon when you don't pay your recurring payment to them, probably after a week but their drives are good Nvme drives and also their single cores scores are a bit better but the they have set caps on uplinks so it's 200 Mbps in this case.

    This costs 66 USD annually for 4 vCPU's AMD EPYC, 6 GB Ram with 200 Mbps Uplink & 150 GB Nvme SSD.

    Bought another one for a month of 16 USD from Advin Servers, it's a breeze compared to that one, just better in everything. Going to cancel that one now.

    Currently it looks like you offer 1TB as a starting point which is just ridiculous for a 32GB small vm ?
    Perfectly happy with my VM its just that it would be nice to have a snapshot option while I am making major changes etc.
    As you are using Proxmox, using the Proxmox Backup Server would be a great benefit.

    Indeed our current backup plans start at 1TB ($30/month). We’re using R1Soft and the license for each backup agent is pretty expensive so it wouldn’t make much difference in the end price if we’re offering less than 1TB plans.

    And you’re correct about Proxmox Backup Server. This is what we plan to roll out and integrate in our existing products. In that case the backup plans will make more sense to your point.

    We plan to start rolling out the new backups Q1 2025.

    Thanks for the reply - I thought I would install proxmox on the VM and then backup to my own PBS, however my VM shows VM-x/AMD-V : Disabled although other peoples yabs shows it is enabled?
    Is this a problem with my VM ?

    i think its cpu limit... 256 if i remember right, even c1v limiting to 512
