is it because the SSD had been powered on for nearly 8 years?
OVH is using the time of order placement instead of payment afaik. So it should be good if the order was placed before it was out of stock. (Hardware-wise, as the API appears to be slow to notice that it’s out of stock…)

Pretty sure paid orders are delivered out first.
Whatever caused the payment verification delay, probably resulted in all stock draining before my order could be delivered.
Hence paid and no delivery, despite being fast.
Otherwise It should have been delivered by now, if what you say would be true.

Did people who went for the KS-A for the No Commitment option or is it best to go for 12 months? - I assume going for a longer period locks the price in for that time?

Yes, it does check the stock every few seconds.
Has a order already prepared if stock appears, it basically just submits the already prepared order with autopay.
Despite all of that, no delivery because of the payment delay on OVH's side.
I accidentally ordered in bhs rather than eu.
It still isn’t delivered but maybe somebody is open to swap if it gets delivered.
(Not interested in making some markup either, only want a swap)

This time around I’ve seen 1/2 confirmed successful deliveries similar to last time…surely they are restocking a decent amount not just a handful?
Probably some people like us which did placed an order for just 1x KS-A, these people did place huge orders and the system probably can't handle it that well I guess.
Sprinkle a few €5 gem servers every month or so to great mass marketing or spend hundreds of thousands of euros on targeted marketing campaigns

The trick might be to load your prepaid account up with some funds, as that avoids all validation procedures on the order and skips straight to delivery.
If there ever is a 3rd restock, it has been done.
If the dedi still doesn't get delivered by then, I call it rigged.
You never know, you might get delivered still 🤞

Just also had a KS-4 turn up in Germany with 2x 4TB, appears that's the standard config for them - but also that the entire restock wasn't fake 😳

seems the LE servers that may have been due to launch are now "unavailable" (was 72HR)
I still think they may launch tomorrow.
