Does anybody wanna share experience with the RootServer 1Core 6GB? I am running with full of headache under WindowsServer 2022 provided. So many lagging and unresponsive within the RDP for 2-3 sec (CPU above 70% - 100%). It happen randomly and did not had pattern.

I have IPv6 only vps $3.5/month with hostbrr Ryzen 9 3900 2 core 4 GB ram windows running fluid.

    Couple of things -

    • You would need 2 vCores
    • Turn off (set to manual) unwanted services in Windows OS

-- Running Windows OS for over one year on @labze HostBre VPS

    I changed VPS Provider.
    More simple

Cause I need with Provider with High Level Honesty.
First time I got GB6 singlecore 2700 and this node is fully utilized and I am still okay.

For two weeks = Windows Server 2022 (can't do YABS or Geekbench)
And Saturday afternoon after lunch, changing to Linux Debian 12 got GB6 2300
I bet during normal working days Monday to Friday, got lower than that

    Thats it, final decision ...
Moving to better one.. releasing headache

Well, nothing else matters as long as you are happy.

In my opinion, @labze is a premium provider. You, of course, have the right to have a different opinion.

  • @riomartin said: Windows Server 2022 (can't do YABS or Geekbench)

Why not. You have GUI app for geekbench and sometimes can run yabs in wsl.

I wonder when I have ever been dishonest over for you. You repeatedly told me the benchmarks were good and then you see one single benchmark that is subpar and then all hell breaks lose? Such a weird take.

Does your server count incoming bandwidth part of the thing? Also, I have a storage box with Hetzner. As far as I know, the bandwidth running internally doesn't count with Hetzner. But with you, does it?

Looking forward to moving my stack from Hetzner to hostbrr. Thank you!

Edit: I have a Hetzner VPS with you.

    Hey @labze
Can you please comment on this?

    Hey @labze

The 9950X servers aren't with Hetzner so it wouldn't be internal traffic. Nonetheless, the bandwidth limitations are as much in place to ensure fair traffic for all especially on the 1 Gbps servers, as the connection is still limited by the overall bandwidth it can push.

If you have specific requirements then feel free to reach out and I am sure we can find a solution.

Unfortunately no surprises. I did order quite a large new server for this but it's pretty much filled up already. Same story across the board of the servers.

Not intentionally. But you can open a ticket and we'll check. There have been some quite large DDOS carpet bomb attacks on the network the last week so the filters have changed and mitigation is more active which might end up throttling some connections.

  • Perfect deal ngl

  • Hi, invoice 47883 the review is still pending (been 2 hours now). The website is a bit unresponsive and I sometimes get error 504. Is there anything going on ? New wave of DDOS ?

Should be activated now. There was some issues with high load on the node our billing system is on but should be resolved.

  • May I ask if there are any VPS hosting promotions available in the Asia region?

That looks reasonably fine. Every 7950X/9950X VPS I got that was on a loaded node had around that GB6 score. My Linveo VPS is at ~2700 for reference.

I think nested virtualization being disabled sort of sucks though unless you don't plan to run VMs on your VPS.

I think the advantage of this server is that it has ample memory and bandwidth.
